Burn dry a ZAP wick?

Ok, i've used this wick/coil on my Provari/ZAP combo for a few weeks. Naturally, there is oxidation buildup. What should I do?

Can I dry burn it off, or will that ruin the wick/coil?

Better way is to clean the wick... take it off wash it and torch it if u dont have a torch use ur oven... if u plan to reuse ur coil just run a lighter to it till u see its glowing red then recoil and thats it ure done ... also for me not recommended to dry burn it coz its still there trapped inside the ss mesh so much better to wash it torch it and reuse it...
