Well, you could drop it in a bowl of hot water and a dash of vinegar. It might help. (I would personally soak it for an hour or two in the vinegar. Just make sure and rinse it out well (another soak is what I personally do) and then dry it and let it air dry for the night. Try it in the morning and see if that helps at all?

If not, then Patkin's probably got the best solution. Lots of luck!

Most likely the wick that goes through the coil is burnt and it has to be recoiled. If you rebuild it, I would also replace the flavor wick.

I change few brand new attys and all have that burn taste only on that cone.i got another silver and same atomizer work great.cone or juice?!only ry4 new bottle give me burn taste in silver is jt redbull and taste is good.is it possible that is new e liquid give me bad taste.ry4 is my favorite ejuice but this last bottle is very bad

If you can do that same cone, with a different liquid, then I'd say it was bad juice. :( Haven't heard of that, but I imagine it could happen. So far I've been fortunate. There's nothing in the cone to create a burnt flavor. But, perhaps it's a lingering thing. I soak my cones as well as my attys, so, if it continues with more juices, I'd soak the cone as well. The vinegar is incredible for breaking that nasty stuff down (mind you, I've never had it revive burnt silicone. :p )

I've also had a cartomizer with bad silicone wicks that never wicked and always tasted burnt. But so far with my eroll I haven't ever had 'burnt' stick around. Even with running them out of juice and everything. :p (Then again, I'm a recent convert to the eroll, who just has read a lot.)

Your RY4 probably contains vanilla. I DIY and vanilla is a very tricky flavoring that can taste burnt in some flavoring brands and if too much is in the juice. I would separate some of my juice in another bottle and add some VG to it then let it sit in a bowl of super hot water until it reaches room temperature (steep) then see if you still get the same burnt taste vaping it. Or you can fill a tank with plain vg and vape it with the atomizer the RY4 juice got on and see if after several puffs the burnt taste diminishes. I guess I would do that first before diluting some test juice as its less trouble. But, I'm saying, these are ways to see if its too much vanilla causing the problem.

Edit: I said plain VG because its not as good a flavor carrier as PG is but if you have plain PG and not VG, you can use that instead to do a test through the RY4 juiced atomizer. If you don't have either one plain, you can get plain VG at any pharmacy or place where they sell candy-making, cake frosting, etc supplies.

Ugh, just remembered another common ingredient of some RY4s is caramel and it can go to burnt taste if too much also.
