Ehem. Sorry to interrupt. Do you mind if I just quickly post some information about cartomizers?

I received a box of the brand new 4081 cartos from Vapor Kings, along with the following findings (from a very reliable source ):

Here are the ohm readings for the 5 Vapor Kings 4081 blanks: 1. 3.4Ω 2. 3.3Ω 3. 3.7Ω 4. 3.7Ω 5. 3.8Ω

To compare to some SS numbers: 1. The atty--3.3Ω 2. One of the Lows--3.4Ω 3. One med--3.3Ω 4. One med--3.2Ω 5. One High--3.3Ω.

The VK cartos are very nicely made, good quality, but, IMO, the resistance is way too high. If you use a 3.4v battery and a 3.8Ω carto, your wattage is just 3.04, which is awfully low. They would be great on HV mods, though. So for those of you who are looking for a true high resistance cartomizer, the VK 4081 is it.

Maybe that's why I like the Good Prophets' blanks so much; they are 3.0Ω.

Nicnac, this one is for you. I'm vaping my Platinum 510 from IkenVape. It's nice. It's warm. It's clean. And I'll bet you my last surviving Riva that it's a Boge; identical packaging, silver threads, identical silicone protective caps (one taller than the other, built-in plug), slightly overstuffed, vertical coil. Perfect resistance, for my taste. Warmer than a 3.0Ω Boge, but none of that LR craziness. Good draw, clouds of vapor (no pun intended, folks, this is IkenVape). Very similar to AZ Smoke Free and early Truemans, only feels more solid, if that makes sense to you. If you like Boge cartos, chances are you'll like this one.

Again, this is just one carto, one evening. As always, YMMV.

Too bad it's overstuffed. Isaac has some more cartos in beta testing right now, the first reviews are good. In the meantime, I'm perfectly happy with my AZSF, 3.0Ω Boges and 2.5Ω Bauways. Not to mention the E2 R4 I'm about to modify, if I can pry that inner filler cap out somehow. I'll be busy for awhile.

Tomorrow I'll be testing the giant kr808.

Morning all. Mea culpa Kaya. I don't know what got into me. I blame Scottbee. If he had been here once in a while fooling with me I probably wouldn't have flown into a flirting frenzy. BR and I are going back to being professional colleagues. All is right in cartomizer land now I hope.

Thanks for the info on the 4081s. I have a few Tiburon kindly sent me weeks ago and I'm still impressed with them. I use one with an adaptor on 5volts and it works well and is lasting a while. I think they may be Trueman not sure.

What do you use the Bauway cartos on? I see they recommend not to use an Ego or similar model.

I got some Boges LR from LieCig and once I get my Ego charged up will see what I think. If I like them I'll order some 510s from Iken. Very interested in the new 808s.
