Well, it was 117 here about 3 days ago.
Hi temps each day have not been below 110 for at least a month now. I think we're looking at around 35 or so days now straight - the local papers are keeping tabs on it. I think we're shooting for a new record here.
Let's just say it feels like you opened the oven door whenever I walk outside...
So I stay inside and vape a lot! LOL

No sweat. I went outside early this morning and put the garbage on the curb. I don't expect to go out again until Tuesday morning.

This dual coil has was heavily used for weeks at 3.7v.

Notice both ends of tube developed cracks. It did take a good amount of abuse before cracking started. It still worked fine w/ cracked tubes; unlike CE2.

The taste was still clean but vapor production went down. I measured resistance at 3 ohms so I knew a coil was out. The tube came off a couple times while on PV in pocket; probably didn't help coil. Broken coil is visible in pic.

Are the burn marks on diapers better or worse than what others experience on their cartos?

I'd say it's a little better than average. It does not seem burned through. Mine usually are.

I have 5 in rotation but two are special dark juices that don't get much vape time.
2 get heavy use and I use clean burning liquid in those.

One difference I notice is I use thinner 100% PG in the work horse duallys.
You are using thicker 70/30 blend which I like but it does not wick as fast.

One failed because I broke it in pocket. It was the one in the picture that broke at a later date. The diapers have a small tan mark about 1/8" long; looks minor to me. If I get motivated I'll take a pic of the diaper.

How burnt are yours?

I have not posted pictures yet. Haven't figured out how yet, and don't want to spend the time to do it. Maybe when I have more time. If I had a picture it would make you sick. LOL anyway they are burned clear threw the diaper and burned into the wicking material. That is with the normal 510 carto's. The DC clears ares better but when they quit performing they are burned, but not as bad. Only taken one apart because they do last longer than the reg. carto's, so I will know more at a latter date. Your pictures show a lot cleaner diaper and wrap than I have ever seen. Don't know where the pictures of other people carto's that they have taken apart is, but I think you can find some on this thread. They look more like I think most people see. Yours is the cleanest I have ever seen. Maybe it is the 100% PG you use??

Maybe 100% PG helps plus I only used clean burning liquid in that one. Problem w/ 100% PG is less vapor production. DIY black pepper makes great quality vapor and is coil friendly; great for Os.

I just built a DIY VV mod today. I tried up to 5 volts. Just to hot to handle w/ my liquid. At 5v I can only toot for about 3 seconds and TH is too much. I cranked it back down to 3.7v because my liquid is tuned for 3.7v.

Maybe I'll try high volts again w/ less nic.

This is my favorite. It is zero. I like to mix it strong and vape Clinton style.

In general super strong flavorings seem to be more coil friendly due to dilution. Dark juices usually kill wick quicker; not always.

In dual coil I normally vape 100% PG, VG:H20 (8:2) or PG:VG (8:2).

I just got nhaler metal CE2.
So far so good.
Vapor production is less than DC w/ new CE2; may improve w/ time.
My old tweaked CE2s produce more vapor than DC.

Organic would burn just as much as nonorganic.

I think they should use the the same material they are using for the wicks. It might cost more, but I'd be willing to pay more for a filler that is flame-proof.

I've been playing w/ VVPV.
I noticed a brown liquid forming near coil on a clearish liquid.
Guess that means I'm pushing the red line.

Let me know how you like them. Trying to find out how I'm going to take the "resurrector" apart right now. Definitely not as easy as dissecting the clear DC.

Sitting here in the Hotel Room VAPING. It's a 'no smoking' anywheres on the property place, so I feel OK to vape anywheres on the property! LOL Back home (in Cresson) tomorrow... I'm kinda, like, anxious to get back home: my KR808D-1 Clearos arrived in the mail Saturday and I need to go scoop them up!
