Let me see if I can clarify a few things:

I will try to do a video of the 4081 cartos, but all I have is the laptop web cam, so I can't get high quality, and doubt I'll be able to show the innards of the carto, but I'll try. I should at least be able to clarify my statements on all that is the 4081 cartos (from SmokeStik)

Also, I am in NO WAY affiliated with SmokeStik, and my free batts and cartos were more of a thank you for the review found here, and please notice the dates. I do NOT benefit in any way from any sales they make. Also, if/when we get our business/store open, we will carry (in addition to everything else) 4081 cartos, maybe from SmokeStik, maybe not. We haven't even decided on our product line yet, let alone suppliers.

I want to express my sincere appreciation for those that gave me the benefit of the doubt, THANK YOU! I have been vaping for about 4 months now, and since then wanted to do something in the industry. Having moved here from Virginia on May 1st, just met Lori and started plans to open up a store. We'll see how things go, but I'm hopefull for success.

If this doesn't clear things up, please ask your questions so I can answer them specifically.

Edit: Think I'll try those 4081 cartos from wordupecig and see if they are built the same as the SmokeStik ones.

But now I have some more questions, since you volunteered.

Are the cartos from Smoke Stiks, Daisy and Trueman all alike, to your knowledge? Why do some of them appear to have one inner tube while others have two? What did you mean when you wrote that the newest version is sometimes more difficult to assemble and disassemble due to something being horizontal rather than vertical. I know, this is highly scientific terminoogy.

We've located, err, Lorikay located all kinds of suppliers who carry 4081 cartos, but we can't fgure out, without actually taking them apart, if they are all SmokeStiks clones, or are they regular cartos with a 4081 thread. In other words, is the fiberglass hairlike material characteristic to SS present in all 4081 cartos (made by the same manufacturer for different markets and tax brackets) or is it a unique design present only in the SS line.

I don't know about cartos from Daisy and Trueman, but I ordered a box from wordupecig and we'll see how similar they are.

I wouldn't be too surprised if you see an auto Riva in the near future.. being that the Tornado/eGo are available in that configuration. But.. I doubt it will be very popular.

And while I know that you can make an "auto" mod... I think/know that it is pure economics and capitalism at work here.. keeping you from the thing that you want and need (besides mahsef.... natch). Autos are nice if you want a PV that can hang out of your mouth and vape "hands free". Since the size of most mods already precludes the "hang out of your mouth" thingie.... the auto switch is less desirable or necessary.

Then again.... if I had a very, very, very long nose and short little arms with weird hands, I might be interested in one too.

Now that I have FINALLY figured out the proper way to use them I can tell ya'll my new secret....510 atty with the ScottyBalls ZFM kit. That's zero filler cart mod...and it rocks! Makes cartomizers soooo past tense. Go here if your interested:

and for you sciency types sitting there thinking...oh heck...a monkey could make those...don't bet on it. These little silicon plugs are precision machined to fit the 510 cart exactly. I just spent a couple hours planting a garden...had my ecig in a cargo pants pocket the whole time...didn't leak a drop...and didn't flood the atty either. Beats the hell out of the $26 I wasted on those movie star cartos!

ps...yankee...just my opinion....but I'm sure a little birdie will be around soon to chime chirp in....those SS cartos taste like...well...vile. They where so bad in my opinion that I couldn't even stand the thought of trying them again..which is how the little birdie ended up with the whole box plus my adapter. There are sooooo many fine,affordable products out there. Why,oh,why would you want to sell these? Geez....lurk around the mod subforum and look at some of the stuff people make....now that would be a great shop! Limited addition,OOAK stuff. Alright, the bird has been summoned. I tried the Smokestiks 18 mg tobacco flavor with an 901>4081 adapter on my auto V4L kr8 battery (the adapter doesn't work with my manual batteries at all). The taste is meh at best, more like yuck. Nasty cheap tobacco. As for performance, I expected more, honestly. Yankee (and Smokestik reps) have stated repeatedly that these cartos feel like a real cig. Well, maybe it's the adapter... I don't know how they perform with Smokestik batteries, but I got a very dull drag, not hard, just meak, not much vapor.

Now that Rosewater sample from VS that Lori so kindly threw in is absolutely heavenly. New V4L XL manual battery, Turbo carto and Rosewater juice. I'm happy.

(Lucky dogs! ) Seriously, thanks again Katya! While for whatever reasons, I hadn't been curious enough about this model yet to purchase any, I'm definitely curious enough to try it if it magically shows up in my mailbox! It's also occurred to me what I will send to you sometime soon... though you may in fact end up deciding that "inflict" would have been the most appropriate word. <--- Innocent? Sneaky? katya, no 2 ways about it the flavor is the pits and that's coming from someone who is still stuck on tobacco taste and only progressed to adding a little vg watermelon to the dekang winston. i'm still on the first carto and now that it is pretty much all my juice in there, the th had decreased but there is still lots of vapor and an easy draw. if you aren't getting that then it could be the adapter, because when i tried the 808 with an adapter on my 401 i felt like i had to suck on it for dear life to get anything out of it. recently i came across a post where it said not to forget about the slot in the adapter to adjust air flow but i could not find any such thing on mine. i gave up on it, plus no way was i vaping on something that had those burn marks when taken apart.
