I have a gummy tank...and I'm still on the first LR, vertical coil, filler carto many, many mls later. The draw and flavor haven't gone off yet. The thing is, the carto stays wet. I don't know what I'll see when i dissect the carto- ok, i probably do know what I'll see, but it's not acting like it's burning yet. Tt doesn't feel at all like I'm pushing it

CES, you never cease to amaze me... You got a gummy tank? And a Reo?

I'm so impresssed. And you drill holes in your cartomizers? :toast:

So how does one acquire a gummy tank? Does Gummy sell them?

Yep Katya :) . A mini reo (almost a year ago) and a genuine gummy tank (a month or so ago to go on my mint box mod that Ralph makes and sells through DeejStuff). What i did was PM Gummy and ask him where i could get one. Turns out that Vapor Age sells the genuine gummy tanks (lexan not plastic). So, i will punch my own cartos - i have some for that purpose but haven't had to yet. I'm completely stunned that i haven't had to yet. When i do break down and dissect it i'll post the pictures here.

It's a long way from the vertical coil cartos that this thread helped me trouble shoot way before i posted here.

You all amaze me! :toast:

So what's your favorite tank, Wyojoe? Or are they all the same? And which ones will acommodate the Resurrectors?
Katya, I made most of mine using 2- 20ml syringes, you need 2 for the plungers. The other ones I bought from a vendor that doesn't have them on their site. There is a tread on how to make one, and it is a long thread. If you just want to buy one, then Crystal Clear Vaping that has the resurrectors, sell the tanks for the DC carto's but the Resurrectors are about the same length and should work just fine for the Resurrectors. Also Mad vapes has tanks, and both places have good prices. One plus for CCV is the shipping is free. You can cut them down to use the Boge cartos but you will need a pipe cutter and something to go inside the tank about the same size, so when you cut it they wont crack the tank when you cut it down to make it shorter for a boge carto. If you have anymore questions please ask, I do like the tanks best of all and they make your carto's last a hole lot longer in a tank. You will not be using as many carto's as you usually do ,so you save money in the long run. You will need to punch your own carto's with a Saddle valve because I don't think you can buy a pre punched Resurrector, Just DC carto's but I like the Resurrectors the best. If you want to try a tank go ahead and order one that comes with a pre punched DC just to try it out, I would go with the 3.5ml tank. Just a note: if you want to punch your own Resurrector only get the Stainless Steel Carto's because it to much hassle to take the black wrappers off of the other ones.

Hmm, never knew that the gummy tank was the original carto tank. Might just pick one up in the future. For now, my cheap Chibi tank has been performing great:

The Chibi tank does look like a good source and good price. I see they have pre punched boge's if you don't want to punch your own.

This one is cute. And again it's designed and named by the people I know and like! :)

Yeah, they got a whole bunch of stuff there. Every tank has a different type of carto in it. The Chibi tank is one of the grommet types. Which might or might not be someone's cup of tea when it comes to tanks. They even have some cheap mods as well.

What 's wrong with grommets?

I feel like such a noob....

Thank you so much for your help, Wyojoe! :)

I have one more questions: what's the point of using cartos in the tanks? I mean, if there is a steady supply of eliquid to the coil, do we need all that polyfill? Wouldn't it be simpler and more hygienic to use atomizers?

Yeah, it is nicely made and functions just like any carto tank out there. I was surprised on how small it really is when I got it. Use it on my Madvapes VV box mod. Finally found a use for the Gold V2's I have which work pretty well in a tank.

Personally, I don't have any problems with it. Some have complained on how it messes with the flavor? To me, the most obvious flaws is that you can't re-fill it like other carto tanks. Since you have to use a syringe to weave it in between the tube and the grommet to the inside of the tank itself.

Which can be seen as a positive as well. Since the grommets are on there extremely tightly which will decrease the chances of a leak. Another potential problem is that it's kind of a PITA re-assembling it when you use a new carto. It's not too bad though.

I would like to know too, unless it would flood the atty, which it might. I don't know.

atomizers would flood...when i asked about using a Ce2 instead of filler cartos, I learned that that version is a map tank- kind of like a ginormous CE2. I'm still a newbie to this tank stuff too, so i might be off here, but my sense is that if you use atties you need a feeder system to deliver the juice to the atty in a controlled manner, the map tanks use Ce2 innards, and the carto/gummy tanks are designed as a juice delivery system for cartos.

the gummy tank isn't the least expensive version- but it's lexan, not cheap plastic, with beautifully machined metal parts. I did get an inexpensive carto tank too- it's like night and day (and i haven't tried the inexpensive one yet)
