Thank you so much for your help, Wyojoe! :)

I have one more questions: what's the point of using cartos in the tanks? I mean, if there is a steady supply of eliquid to the coil, do we need all that polyfill? Wouldn't it be simpler and more hygienic to use atomizers?
The point is that the tank keeps the carto moist all the time and therefore the Diaper around the coil does not burn so quickly, but after extended use the Diaper and coil gets gunked up and looses performance.(time to pop in a new one, I never try to clean them because they will never work like new again) But they do last a lot longer in a tank and you don't need to keep topping of the carto like you normally do. With Just a atty it would flood and not work like anytime you flood a coil/atty.

I don't know because I have not tried but it might be possible to use a CE2/clearomizer and I think they have a S.S. CE2, not sure, and that might work. I will have to try it sometime, haven't thought about that before until your reply. But again the tanks work very well for me and last alot longer, with tons of vapor and saves money because the cartos last so much longer and the tank holds so much that it lasts all day.

yes there are quite a few ce2 tanks. some use cut ss ce2 or even the stems by themselves. leaks and condensation are recurring complaints, but not a showstopper imo. but you know .. the next generation of ss wick 'genesis' stuff is going to end the carto vs clearo debate. that will tide us over nicely until the patent disputes are resolved and we get some real atomizers.

That would be nice. Good to know.

Raidy has never changed his position. He develops stuff and does not produce anything for sale directly. The Genisis is patented and he did not/has not sold the rights to any manufacturer or person. He has made the design available to anyone and has allowed non-commercial production/sales/group buys with the stipulation that they are not-for-profit.

He has developed a subsequent device that he has said will be produced by a commercial interest. Best guess is that it will be a much smaller form factor and likely an induction heating element. Time frame sounded like it might be this year?

thanks i was wondering about the genisis patent. induction. sounds promising. i'm going to have to learn german. google translate only gets you so far, and my coworkers are not as fascinated by this stuff.

i feel so overlooked :( - wyojoe turned vet and he never followed my signature to celebrate in style ...... sniffle, sniffle
Don't feel overlooked, there is alot of things I don't understand on the ECF or how to do some of the things that others do here. I do try to learn what I can. THANK you for the mention though. I am just trying to half way keep up, I sometimes feel like technology is running away from me and I can't run fast enough to keep up. LOL
