CES, so, do you still actually have somewhere you can buy CE-2 cartos? Coz I always liked them so much better than the stuff they have nowadays. tank, Shark, Viva, Nova, eGo-T, man! I have tried a lot of the new stuff and I do NOT like it at all. I think the CE-2 cartos were the most user-friendly and easy to work with. JMHO, though.
Hope you, and everyone else here is doing good and toking 'em up!

Not trying to bash any e-cig suppliers, but just sayin'..
I ordered some stuff from FastTech on May 8th..
Still waiting for it. They put the wrong zip code on my package and now they've been hemming and hawing since.. They did some 'internal investigation on my package. That took nearly 2 months, and their best answer is, "Have you contacted your Post Office about this?" Well, duh! Only about 4 times now, with the Regional Post Office also tracking the package. Well, it's disappeared off the radar!
I've been ordering from them almost a year now, with no problems at all.. til now.
Definitely going to find another supplier - they have lost my patronage..

Yeah I'm not sure what happened this go around with Fast Tech. I've always gotten good fast service and shipping.. until now. They just sent me some BS response saying to give them another week and see if it's come in. Then they will get around to reshipping my package.
I was like, ummmmm. Talk about dragging something out here! So anyways, I am going to wait another week (do I have a choice, really?) and see what happens.

can't blame them too much - postal systems have been known for serious delays!

Thank you both, Tibs and CES. However, I know that FastTech put the wrong zip code on my package, so that's why it got lost. And they don't want to admit it. So whatever with them. They have just lost a once-loyal customer.
At any rate, I'm fixing to call my bank and have them reverse the credit card charge. Fast Tech is a has-been in my opinion..
Meanwhile.. back to my GENISIS!
*toke* heheheheee

I'm sort of back here for a while. Had some impressions made yesterday for some teeth. I think I can eat more food by mouth if I have some, so I don't care if I don't live long enough to justify their expense.

The coil in Peggy's cartomizer burned out this morning. It took all morning, but I managed to rebuild it. I think it has been working since last fall, so it went longer than I expected.

I've been having little set backs but recovering enough now to think about building a new cartomizer tomorrow. Or maybe the next day., heheh.

good luck with the new choppers, br! ;)

and you better keep ms peggy in working cartomizers! :D

Thanks Tibs. Peggy and I are in good shape with cartomizers for the time being, but I still need to custom build one for my Spinner II batteries. There will be company here today so I might think about doing it tomorrow. Or the next day.

(((BR)))

almost 12 months on a coil is pretty darned good. Glad you got it rebuilt. I'm with Tibs, go for the choppers.

We never know how long a coil will last. Maybe hours, days, weeks or months. Regardless of the time, there is never any fiber loss on the silica wicks. I wish I could make the world understand how important a larger coil cup can be.

There will be at least 5 appointments made to get the choppers made and fitted, but I am looking forward to having them done.

Wow. BR, you found a secret the Chinese surely don't want us to know about! A coil lasting that long - wow! Mine last up to 4 or 6 days and it's time to replace it. They caramelize on me, I guess it's the juice I use.. I'm not complaining though - it's sooooo much better than smoking anyday!

It's no secret, Al. I have displayed detailed drawings on several threads including this one on how I build them. Some of the things I have done have been copied over the years, but not the things that really matter. My cartomizers get crud on the coil wire but not the wick because the wraps are too far apart. This crud is occasionally burned off. The coils last longer because they work at a low power and produce a reasonable amount of vapor. The juice we use is a thin tobacco flavor, so that helps matters. However, I'll have to say that Peggy's cartomizers have always lasted longer than mine and that is a factor too.
