You're one smart cookie, BR! I've tried close wraps, wide wraps, all voltages from 1 Volt up to 12 Volts - same thing - I think it's the ejuice I vape. That, and the fact I vape very heavily and I like lots of vapour, so I use mostly VG and thin it with Tequila.. (that's when I'm not drinking Margaritas!) heheheee. I vape between 5 and 8 ml of juice a day... Room looks like an old smoky bar from the '60s when you could smoke anywhere...

For my kind of performance, it's not what you try but how you do it, heheh. But then, one of my objectives is for an e-cig to replace an analog, and it more than accomplishes that. I don't need for it to do anything more.

..OT here, but then again, isn't that what keeps life interesting! So anyways,
I decided to have a good stiff Margarita. Finished that off, and got to thinking about all that great German food I can order online - can you believe it! - so anyways, off to the website I go to order it.
I'm going to grill up some good Nurnberger Bratwurst, have it on some Brotchen and add some Pommes Frites with German Pommes Frites topping, and later on, I'm going to cook up some Jagersnitzel mit Spatzle! Also ordered some Pork Cutlets and I have the authentic German recipe for gravy to go with the Spatzle! Man, I'm getting hungry just thinking about this!!!
I haven't had that since 1996 and boy do I miss it, ever!
O yea, also ordered some Currywurst Catsup! Can't forget that!! ..and the Mustard (Senf) - LOL! Can't be forgetting that, can we? Heheheeeee ..and Brotchen - can't have Bratwurst without brotchen!!!
I'm going to be vaping while I cook all of this up!
Laters... *toke*

@ alz - you sure got my mouth to water! ;)
Hi again Ms. Tibs!
Yea, I did 2 tours over in Germany and I loved it! I really miss Germany. While there the second time, I visited a few towns that my ancestors had lived in. However, I never did go to the one that my original surname ones came from, Hamburg. So anyways, my first tour was in Bamberg and I loved that town. the second tour was in Heidelberg. Heidelberg was nice, but it was too big for me - I liked the Bavarian small-town atmosphere better.
I tried to get into the local culture - eat where the locals did, eat what they ate, etc. And of course, I loved listening to the local radio stations. That's how I got introduced to 'euro-disco' and other dancehall music there. I found most of the songs I liked online and also bought a few CDs as well.
I can't wait to get grillin' on those Nurnberger brats! Woooooooooooooooooo!

Sounds yummy, Al.

Murphy's law BR....or the cartos are just making sure that the "average" lifespan isn't too long. Hope the next one holds up better again.

I found the problem CES. I built it with a 2.5 ohm coil with welded leads and the weld broke. I tried to rebuild it today with the same type and three of them broke before I could get the cartomizer back together. I finally got her back going with a one with soldered leads, but it has a 2.8 ohm coil. She will get by running a higher voltage, but I don't like it. Needlessly to say I won't buy any more coils with welded leads.

I started to build a new cartomizer. All I did was turn down the end of a brass rod and cut some 510 threads on it, but its a start.

Should if fail again, I have a bunch of cartomizers that I will never use, so just holler and I'll take care of Peggy! :D Not that I'm suggesting that your masterpieces might fail--ever. Far from that. :p

Happy Labor Day, my friends!

Good Morning in here :)

I don't know if you have noticed, but I have been cleaning out the Technical Issues Forum and Tips and Tricks Forum...
Atomizer Issues, Battery Issues, Cartridge Mods...have been moved to Archives after cleaning and organizing them.

I have moved threads like crazy up to Assorted PV Topics.

The reason is, getting rid of redundant subs that cause confusion for members...many posts were not getting replies.

The area you guys are in is next to be Archived...YOU ARE NOT being Archived.

Some time in the next few days I am going to move you up to Assorted PV Topics - Cartomizers :

Cartomizers

I don't think it will affect your links to get here...but wanted to let you know in case it does.

:)
