Hi everyone....good news! Vapors Etc
has informed me that they have a tracking number on the XL batteries...and...drumroll please.....Softcap,colored Trueman cartos!!!!

I've been following this thread with great interest and have been holding off a carto order, hoping that someone would get these in....Thank you for sharing the news Lorikay! As soon as they get them in, I'm all over it!

I didnt think it said 808D-(1) yesterday. Does anyone know if that means we can order the 510 2nd edition???

one more question, with your huge selection of cartos have you come across any identical to the truemans?

I received both in the Trueman's coop order. Although both were above average in terms of performance and not burning, I too have to say I preferred the yellow (the horizontal). It's odd but I can't even quite articulate why. I'm a heavy vapor...used it 5 days (although switched off) and filled it multiple times. There was barely a scorch mark on it.

I know there has been some disagreement on this but I just got the Good Prophets 4081 prefilled and they are identical to these (horizontal). Same yellow color, same caps, same everything.

I will post it here the minute Ross tells me he has them in stock. By then he should have some new mystery flavors he is working on as well.....

Here's a tip for anyone going to Vapors Etc for the first time...it's just a little oddity about their website/shopping cart....you can't check out as a guest. So first thing you do is open an account so you have a user name and password..then log in...that way no hassles or backtracking when you go to check out.

Yes, I did see that Trueman's said the black ones were newer and improved. Which bummed me out (although the black ones are miles better than the standard Kanger 808).

I actually kept the filler material from the yellow Trueman (I KNEW there was a reason I kept a piece of filler!!) so I can compare that to the GP filler after I finish with one.

Right now Ross says he just ordered the 510's...apparently enough people are happy with the Kanger KR8's that he will continue to offer them as well. But this thing about exactly which style of Truemans people will recieve appears to be a little confusing. So it would be good for him to know exactly what ya'll want.

also be sure and read the scrolling banner at VE....it will list flavor of the week as well as the current coupon code...today it's "vapors" for 10% off.

I am double checking but I believe Ross will be carrying both the KR8's and the 510's. I doubt he will carry the 4081'a as he does not carry those batteries. But if there was a big enough interest in adapters for the KR8 batteries to 4081 cartos and the 4081 cartos I'm sure he would order some .....so check in here and let me know how many of you would like to be able to use 4081 cartomizers with Kr8 or 510 batteries.

basically, the 510s should be the same as the 4081s, or 808s save for the fitting. we should know for sure soon. i believe ww is getting a 510 trial carto from clumsy who participated in the trueman co-op and was willing to donate one carto for our experiments

I got my mega cartos today and am very happy with them. I have to thank Kentc for the filling tips - I threw away that inside baffle and am filling through the mouthpiece wih the bottle underneath that Scott suggested. Still messy but it's getting better as I'm getting used to it. I 'm trying .5 ml in the syringe at a time so there isn't too much running out of the battery end. Fill it 4 times and it's done ( though I still have a bunch of paper towels at hand
just in case).

Thanks for the help filling - I got empty ones from WordupEcig so I had to fill them from the start. They're out of them already.

....really do work nice for these cartos by a top fill. You just have to make sure you make it through the middle sealed hole. So far, I've never had any ejuice come out the batt end. I suppose you could do the batt end plug and spin method too if you really thought you needed the full 5-6 hours without refill.

I'm using the yellow one right now. I'll let you know what I think when I've used it for a few days. Actually right now I like the black one better, at least for the moment. The Trueman ones with the wire are similar to Kanger cartos, but the Trueman ones have much better filler in them. I've never seen another 4081 built like these. The filler reminds me of the filler in the SS cartos. The yellow Trueman ones with the coil, I believe are the same as GP ones. I just got some GP ones so I'll use one of those and do a side by side on both of them when I'm done. GP's come prefilled though.

Thank you Lori, I'm so happy you keep on top of all this I have not received the Trueman 510s yet to know what they are like. Anybody know if they have the wire in the center or the horizontal coil?

Also I received my Aqua Vapor 510 cartos. They are SLBs. I thought they were suppose to be something different. Did I get the wrong thing?

Oh cool zelda!! I made such a mess with mine the other day that I sat it off to the side until I have the time to try again. The mess was totally my fault, trying to rush things. I have some blanks coming as well.

I just got mine in today, thank you for suggesting those!! I already ordered 3 more so I can have them for all my different juice flavors. They sure do make things easier, no matter what kind of carto or even if you drip!

Just read your post on V4L subforum!

Tibur, we may want to wait for Steve's response. If those cartos will be available from V4L shortly, why don't we try them first. Co-op is a nice idea, but the shipping charges from China are outrageous. I wrote to them in May, I think it was, and they charge 19 bucks for shipping of 30 cartomizers. 35 bucks for 60, etc. I'd be interested in a co-op but only if those cartomizers are really good; if they are not, we'd be wasting a lot of money. What do you think?

"We" have tried them first....Ben has tryed them. He says the very first one he tried tasted like melting plastic on a PT. On a regular battery most of them tasted fine. But occaisionally he would get that burnt plastic taste....as he put it...."a dangerous chemical type of flavor".

So caveat empor with them......(buyer beware)

doh!....speaking of Ben...I'm using one of the new Turbos now....great new cap design! Easily held 20 drops and still has a nice light but not airy draw. That's Vapor Nine Turbo carts if your just now finding us. (KR808D-1)
