Tibur, we may want to wait for Steve's response. If those cartos will be available from V4L shortly, why don't we try them first. Co-op is a nice idea, but the shipping charges from China are outrageous. I wrote to them in May, I think it was, and they charge 19 bucks for shipping of 30 cartomizers. 35 bucks for 60, etc. I'd be interested in a co-op but only if those cartomizers are really good; if they are not, we'd be wasting a lot of money. What do you think?

Anyone tried the new 510 cartomizers (Edition 2) from e-liquid.cn? It comes to 47.33 for 30 cartos. I don't think it's bad when you consider that it works out to about 7.89 for a 5-pack shipped. Any state-side vendor will surely mark it up to that or over for a 5-pack, plus add their shipping on top of that. I just ordered 30 as I'm curious about the no filler carto and if it taste like dripping. I'm not sure how long it will take to get the package, but I'll let you know how it goes.

....really do work nice for these cartos by a top fill. You just have to make sure you make it through the middle sealed hole. So far, I've never had any ejuice come out the batt end. I suppose you could do the batt end plug and spin method too if you really thought you needed the full 5-6 hours without refill.

I've made a mess the last day or so but I know I'm not being patient so my fault. I am getting the hang of it Like you say as long as you get the needle through that middle hole you'll be fine.
I realized I'm plungering the liquid too fast instead of going slow and letting it soak in. I slowed down too day and so far no liquid is coming out of the battery end.
I also drip a little bit through the battery end here and there. I remember doing that with the greencig cartos and it worked well.

Cignot has them also for $4 a piece or $17 for a 5-pack. I just don't know if I want the filler taste from a carto.

Not sure I understand the refill thing....guess I need to go back a few dozen pages I did try adding a couple drops to the battery end and then blowing it out just to make sure I didn't fry it right off...it leaks like a sieve. But I'm sitting here looking at this bottom cap/condom thinking...hmmmm...now there must be something useful one of us can think up to do with this thing. LOL
ps...I've decided the ultimate e-cig mod is a pair of BDU camos...a Smoke Stik case in each trash pocket and your good to go all day.
anybody else know anything about V4L changing the switch on their auto batteries to a sound activated instead of a pressure activated???? Not that I care....I'm buying my next batch of batteries from Ross....for the hubby that is....auto XLkr8s with 510 cartos...I think he's finally happy!

Lorikay, did Ben say if they contain any kind of filler? Their site says "no cotton," whatever that means. Just curious.

I love the Turbos, and I love my 4081s (all of them, really, SS, GP, Trueman). Rob at Good Prophets is still waiting for the blanks; his order never arrived... And I'm hoping Aquavapor will get their blanks in soon so we can try those. I also like some of those newer 510 cartos, like the IkenVape (SLB) that I got from WitchWay. It was my favorite, so far.
Tibur, SmokeStik, Good Prophets and Trueman were identical inside, per my autopsies. I can't tell if they are made differently or from different materials, but by just looking at them, I coudn't detect any major differences. You can see the pictures in posts 887 and 889 in this thread. The only 4081 that was different was the wordupecig one. No upper inner tube, different kind of filler, airier draw.
Honest, there is so much going on in the carto world right now, and it's all good, IMO.
So what's the latest on the giant eGo cartomizers? Do they burn? Anybody managed to toast one yet?

so...through working some magic...pulling some strings...whatever you want to call it...seems I'm probably getting about 5 of the royalsmoker 808D-1 cartos to try out
we'll see how that goes as they're going to the UK then to someone else in the states and then to me..so who knows V4L might get theirs first...

Follow up on the Ego Carto problem and TW. They have notified the manufacturer and the problem is getting fixed and they are sending me new cartos. Very good service from TW on this.
Received my Trueman 510s from ClumsyGirl today. They are built like the SLBs but seem to have different filler. This filler is like the one in the Trueman 4081 with the vertical wire. This filler is similar to the SS filler which seems to make a very big difference. I'll use this one for several days and see if it burns or not, then take it apart and post pics.
Very excited to hear about the new E2 cartos when someone finally gets some. I keep going to the site then talking myself out of buying them. I'm sure I'll end up ordering some though

mr kil should get his cartos pretty soon, his order has been standing for quite some time and ems usually gets here within 6 to 7 days

I ordered and paid for my Edition II's several weeks ago. The order is still in the processing stage so I am not sure how long the whole process will take.
They have not even shipped it yet
