Burning Cartomizers <sigh>

Dormouse - or anyone... Do any of you know where I can buy 100 PG juice in Vanilla that is referred to here? Thanks!

I use 80% vg juice on standard resistance cartos. You just have to be patient when filling up a new carto. Don't start vaping on it w/o letting the juice sit for at least an hour. i've gone back to using the condom method when filling a carto for the first time.
I've burned up at least 1 box of new cartos since switching to high vg juice. I'm pretty fed up as well and know how you feel.

I let newly filled cartos sit overnight to be sure they soak up liquid and wick correctly. Absolute minimum time for me is 4 hours. If you hit a newly filled carto too soon, it's very possible to burn.
I also use a syringe with a 18 gauge beveled needle to fill and then top off before I hit it the first time.

Condom method does fill great. I'm just too messy with it... either way I still let them sit a long time.

Looks like I've done it twice today. I've gotten some new juice and was trying to load Cherry into the catomizers. I have two types.....the basic type and also the dual coil type - both from Modern Vabor and I'm using them on their LUX model. Both times, I got the burnt taste that is "oh so gross"! What am I doing wrong? I'm filling....let sit........fill more....let sit...... till I think they are full. Should these be filled and left to sit for several hours or overnight? Another question, once you get a burnt taste in a cartomizer, it is trash..correct? Or can they possibly be cleaned and re-used?

I've been vaping successfully for only one week and until today, all was well with the cartomizers I was using. I feel like an idiot. <hanging head> Ha!

either not enough juice touching the coil..or not carto not saturated enough...i use the thermometer shake method when filling cartos..then i let it sit for a few minutes..had no problems..

Ahhh......... well it's pretty clear that I have not gotten the cartos filled/saturated enough so I'll figure out which method works best for me. I'm also ordering some 100% PG e-liquid to thin these thicker ones that I have. You guys are all amazing! Thank you so much.
