After shelving this tank for the past few months, I started dabbling with some new sub ohm tanks. I already owned an Atlantis and Subtank mini, but I wanted to try the Silo Beast and the Triton. Both of them appealed to me because of the top fill method. I absolutely love the original Silo tank (it's my go-to tank every day). So I was excited more about the Beast. Unfortunately, I am not too thrilled with either of these systems. They both leak like sieves. The Triton leaks from the drip tip air flow, and the Beast leaks from the air flow every single time I fill it.
Since I am a little annoyed about spending $60 on 2 tanks I dislike, I decided to break out the Kayfun V4 for another try. This time, I decided to use 26g Kanthal, instead of nickel. It came out to 0.89 ohms, and it works great. I've been using it all day and only got 1 dry hit. it hasn't leaked at all, and the flavor is pretty good. Not as nice as my Squape R, but I need to replace one of the O-rings that holds the glass in, so that one's out of commission for now.
