I got my new Xhaler in yesterday, BUT I burned up two atty's within 3 minutes - I made sure the atty was good and wet - only did 2-3 second hits on the button and made sure I had the bottom knob turned in tight to assure 5 Volts - I only have 2 attys left that fit my screwdrivers, so I can't risk burning up those on the Xhaler - as much as I want this to work, because I really do need and want a HV - this could get very expensive burning through atty's like this. I did go ahead and order some 801s - I read here that the 801s seem to do better on the HV POs !! Those won't get here until at least Monday, so the Xhaler goes on the shelf until then :(
It bums me out, because I was really excited about the HV PO and looking forward to that great and elusive throat hit I always here about.

This is probably the hardest day I've had since I had my last analog. Tonight will be 1 week. I have no idea why today is driving me crazy, but the urge to have a REAL cigarette is very, very strong - I have no plans to cave in, but it's not gonna be a fun day. And of all days for this to happen - I'm getting none to very little throat hit at all today - have no idea how or why this happens sometimes ?

I tell you something - IF someone could figure out a way to make atomizers last - at least for several months instead of weeks, days, hours, or even minutes as in my case - they could get very, very wealthy. I'm not good at all at stuff like that - not even making a Mod. I'm sure this is gonna happen at some point. If this ever does happen and the only real expense we had after the initial investment would be the juice - how great would that be !!!!!

I've had my xhaler for almost 2 weeks and I killed my first atty(510) yesterday. My gf has killed 2 using the 510 battery so I dont think I'm doing too bad. I don't know anything about the 801s.

Thanks Kricos - I hope the 801s do better than the 901s I had - I can't afford going through them like that - with my screwdrivers - I have two of them - I've yet to burn up even one - I guess I'm spoiled. I know the HV's are different and take a little getting used to, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed - I ordered 5 of the 801s from TW - with hopes they might get here by Sat, but I'm sure it'll be Monday at the earliest. Tonight at midnight makes one week exactly at midnight since I've had an analog- but ironically today is the HARDEST day I've yet -it's kicking my .... and can't get a decent hit to save my life ! :w00t:

BE112's are pretty nice penstyle atty's at high volts. I have a 5V home made USB passthrough that my penstyle atty's seem to get me at least 6-8 weeks worth of us on, I also use the same atty's on my Chuck at 6V, no issues.

The only time I burned out a new atty was when I was experimenting with a cart mod at high volts, this is just not a good idea to use carts at all at high voltage, you can't guarantee the atty is moist enough. Dripping is required.

RN4072, Kissbox, and BE112's all seem to do well at high voltage, with BE112 being the better of the three. Mainly because they leak the least.

The Xhaler doesn't work with the BE112 - I had hoped it did, because I had heard good things about it - but here's the quote on Nahler Website: :(

CAUTION THE XHALER CANNOT BE USED WITH BE112 ATOMIZER

Thanks though - I'll keep at it and figure this out at some point !

I hear BE112 works using an adapter from whatever connector you have to an 801 atty.

That sounds promising - I'll check into that when my 801's get here early next week - until then - my xhaler is on the shelf - I'm tempted to grab it and give it another try, but my luck I'd burn out the last two atty's I have and THEN I'd be heading to the Shell Station to buy a real pack of cigs - ( and that would be more fun than - well you get the point ) I'm gonna try and tough this out as long as I can !!!!

Thanks for suggesting this - I'm surely gonna check into it !

I'm re-reading this - so you're saying that the same connector that fits the 801 fits the BE112 ? If that's the case - then I'm wondering why Drew has on the Nhaler site that the BE112 DOES NOT work on the Xhaler - the xhaler comes with a fitting for both the 810 and 901 - ?

the be112 doesnt work with his 801 connector but if you get an adapter say 901>801 and place your be112 onto the end of the 801 part of the adapter it should work.

In other words just put on your 901 adapter on the exhaler first.

Then screw on your 901>801 adapter onto the 901 end and then place your bbe112 on the 801 end. it will work.

The be112 is an 801 just branded by bestecig called the be112.

yes, definatley you dont want to pop your remaining attys.. wait til you get an adapter. there are several places to get them.. I think altsmoke has them and a couple of other places also sell them.

OK - now it makes sense to me. It is strange that the BE112 wouldn't work on the Xhaler 801 - where you have to put on the xhaler 901 - then go right bank to turn it back into an 801 to use the BE112, but if that's how it works and if the be112 keeps the atty from burning out - I'd for sure be willing to do that. Now I'll have to find a place to get a 901 to 801 adapter. Do you by some chance have an outlet for that ?

Thanks a ton - you're really helping me out a lot !

Once again - thanks so much ! Here's something odd as well - I was looking around Nhaler and look what I found ??? If they sell this to use the BE112 - why would they have on the site that the XHaler DOES NOT work with the be112 ? Here's the link on Nhaler for that adapter !

901 Battery to 801 Adapter

Is Best e-cig the ONLY place to order the be112 ? I see they are in China - the shipping cost is brutal from there -- !

I got some HV 801 atty's from Nhaler and tried them on my 801 adaptor !!! dont do that they do not work together , the 801 Xhaler adaptor is not bored out enough for the HV atty ( it shorts out the connection and colapses the spring , kinda acts like a fuse ! )

Anyhow i KILLED the ATTY also ?? totally wide open Meg ohms. This could be fixed by boring the adaptor out another mm or so .

I am letting Drew know about this if he does'nt already know
