ok, i am new to vaping. I vaped a 510 for about a week, and when i left my charger at work, i had to go for a new one. The local guy only sells LeCig, so no 510 accessories. He showed me LeTank, this thing is awesome. The only problem i'm having is that he suggested dry vaping a few drops of the new liquid when you want to change flavors. So i did this and burnt my atty. (coffee flavor, so it tastes like the last half cup in the pot smells when you forget to turn it off) Question is, what did i do wrong, too much liquid on a naked atty? did i vape too hard on it? Is there any saving this atty, or do i just trash it?

The atomizers on the tank models are not designed very well for dripping (what your guy calls dry vaping). The wick is very narrow, and any juice that you drip that doesn't get on the wick will just go right down to your battery. To test out new flavors, you want to get a 306 or 510 atomizer and a drip tip to go with it. Those atomizers are better designed for dripping.

The burnt taste that you got is because your atomizer ran dry. The last bit of e-juice that was on your coil (heating element) burned and turned to ash, giving you that burnt taste. You just need to give your atomizer a good cleaning. You could start with just a simple warm water flush. Just hold the battery end of the atomizer up to the faucet and run water thru it for about 3 minutes, then blow thru the battery end a few times to get the excess water out. If you still have the burnt taste, then you will need a more through cleaning. Research this site for the different atty cleaning techniques.
