I use a Riva and usually Boge 2.0 LR cartos. Just got some Iken's 2.5s and some LR Megas. Also wanted to try out some (steeped) Tasty Vapor Cafe Macchiato and Butter Rum and in the process burnt out 3 different cartos. I cleaned them, tried all again and can't get out that nasty burnt taste, wasted oodles of juice. I didn't open them because I don't have the tools and was frankly so mad I just threw them away. Those are the only 2 TV flavors I've bought.
I see others with the same problem with TV flavors but they seem to blame it on their equipment. Is it the juice with some strange taste (both emulating alcholic drinks?). Is it combo of their juices and the RIVA? I was very careful filling them full with a syringe, waiting, filling more, waiting more, so that should not be the problem. The Riva with LR 2.0 cartos is a very popular hardware choice so IMO they shouldn't make juice that burns on that equipment or else put a disclaimer on their website. AND they should offer samples of all of their juices so we can try before we have to buy a $15 bottle of juice! AND if you're buying a flavor that you expect to be sweet, why do you have to indicate sweetener? There seem to be tons of fans of TV but I don't get it. I'm frustrated and $25 poorer over this problem not to mention hours on ECF trying to find the answer!
IMO, it's the juice. Anyone care to chip in? What is that nasty taste & what's causing it?
