burnt flavor?

first, let me start of by saying I absolutely LOVE and exclusively vape Ms. T's, I learned all about Ms T's Bakery from ecf, and decided to order some flavors when i ordered my MV Sidesho, they came right after my sidesho and i instantly switched my prefilled MV carts to Ms T's and way way happier (sorry Modern Vapor).

anyways, to the point of my question. some of the flavors i vape have a strange "burnt popcorn" after taste, while some don't, i've switched up the attys and even bought a new one so i know it isn't my atty, its the liquid, but only certian ones. even my friends have mentioned it saying they taste like "burnt popcorn" lol, with out me ever mentioning it to them first...
my French Vanilla, Hazelnut Coffee (with Whip), Strawberry Cheese cake, and (*gasp*) Snickerdoodle Cookie, All have a slightly icky an after taste of burnt popcorn.

please note I still LOVE and vape all of them
I'm just wondering if anyone else gets that ever???

and whats a different good vanilla flavor from Ms. T's? I want to try a new one

Let me guess! your using a 801 on a 5v right? If not tell us what atty/carto your using and what voltage you have. that would be helpful.

I got that taste on the Kahlua and cream, but that was it. Even that went away eventually. Could be they need to sit awhile. Could be your equipment...dunno, I'd get advice from the previous two posters.

no and no I mentioned above I have a sidesho from Modern Vapor, and I'm using the 'normal' atty sold on MV for the sidesho... excuse my newbie-ness but i really don't know anything about any voltage or anything like that,

If you have anything else to vape, you might think about putting the Ms. T's away for a few days and come back to it. Taste buds are so funny. My stuff tastes one way in the morning and another way at the end of the day...

You could try rinsing out and drying one atty and trying it the next day, and/or doing a dry burn to clean them first, but prime them with liquid, a couple extra drops than normal and let it sit for a while before vaping. But it's mysterious if others are reporting the same (your friends)...are they all vaping it out of your equipment or on their own?

Let me tell you, this should not be your experience.

Also make sure to blow out the primer fluid of your new attys before use. If you don't it can funk up the taste of your liquid for a while.

Thought of something else...funny tastes can result if you hold the button too long, or take vapes without letting the liquid replenish the atty in between, letting it get too hot with too little to vaporize.

Also, the problem with the "MV Sideshow" is these companies just take wholesalers' ecigs and rebrand them, so we don't know what model it is exactly. It looks like a 510 or similar mini-ecig, so maybe someone can make a recommend.

yeah i've tried that whole cleaning the atty thing, pretty much exactly what you said, and the SAME atty taste fine with a different flavor. i thought it was the attys for a while but i'm pretty sure it isn't now lame. my friends tried the liquids on my equipment too so i guess that doesn't help lol
and i know its a rebranded something i searched for days trying to find out what (i wanted cheaper parts haha who doesn't?) all i came up with was JSB108 and i can't find anywhere to buy that model with out buying bulk straight from china or from MV..

Well it looks like you are pretty knowledgeable so I am so sorry I couldn't help. Yeah, by all means do not give up on Ms. T. If in the end after a week or so they are still funky tasting I would be very shocked, but she will make good for you, no doubt. I have tried 45+ and there was a mistake made on only one and as I mentioned only one with the taste you describe, and I've tried and loved 3 of the 4 you mention in the OP, so I can only wish you the best!

I got Pumpkin Waffles for a friend when I put in my first order.
I called her and vaped the pumpkin to give her an initial opinion.
To me, it tasted like canned pumpkin, no waffles, no sweet flavor at all.
It sat in my little purple container (mostly dark) for 4 days before she got to vape it.
Once she tries it, she says it tastes like waffles, and there is no pumpkin at all.
We are using the exact same hardware (M401 with a manual battery).

Definitely dont give up on it. Everyone is different. I personally think fluids have a mind of their own, and they like to age like wine


For me, the Ry4 Ive been vaping for months will all of a sudden taste burnt or off.
I change out the atty, and the cart and try again.
Still tastes off. I then change the battery, and try a different bottle of the same flavor.
If it still tastes wrong, move to a different flavor, and hide that one in the dark.
It will go back to normal, assuming its not our taste buds that make it taste off.
