Hi, folks.

I'm using a Vision Spinner 2 in combination with an Aspire Vivi Nova-S BDC and vaping Halo Tribeca juice. When I replace the coil, all is great until I have to refill, at which point, I start getting burnt hits rather quickly. This never happens when using a new coil for the first time, just when I have to refill. I've gone through about 3 new coils in the last few days, which seems quite excessive.

When I refill, I screw the base back on and let everything sit for about 10 mins or so and then take a few dry pulls to prime, but even
this doesn't seem to help at all. I -must- be doing something wrong here... and it's getting rather frustrating as well.

If it matters, I'm usually at 3.8V and don't go any higher, probably because I'm afraid of burning up the coil. :D

Any suggestions as to what may be the problem?

Thanks,
John.

Try dripping some juice onto your coil before you refill. Maybe it's not getting wicked into the coil after you refill, even after waiting 10 minutes. This may not work, but it's something to try. Just my :2c:. Hope you figure out what's going on, that's annoying to go through that much trouble. I assume you're using pre-built coil replacements? Have you thought about re-building them yourself, to save money? Kanthal is cheap, and cotton is even cheaper.

Lotuse is onto a good point. I just took up vaping last week, and I didn't like the stock coils for the kanger tank I had on my sigelei, so I bought a 100' roll of kanthal wire on amazon for $5, and a big bag of organic cotton balls from cvs for the flavor and coil wicks. This saves you a ton of money once you start building your own coils.

I found out the flavor is better and the vapor is thicker.

Just look up "Protank rebuild with micro coil" on YouTube for the basic understanding of how to do it. You can watch other videos and probably find the one you need for your specific mod. Good luck!
