Burnt liquid past 4 volts

Hey everyone
So I have an ego twist with a Kanger evod t3 and 2.5 coil. Right now I'm vaping virgin's watermelon 50/50. For some reason it burns past 4 volts. Has anyone else experienced this. It looks like everyone vape a lot higher with those coils. I also had the same experience with vapor god too. I have tried changing coils and that didn't change anything. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Hello and welcome to the forum. Glad to have you here!

You will find that every flavor likes a different voltage/wattage. I vape fruits at a lower v/w than I do desert flavors.

I'd say don't go past 4 volts....
It all depends, Mitch... different concoctions act differently at different temps.. some burn more easily than others... Like Susan, the lighter, fruitier flavors, I tend to cook at lower temps as well. Same with the creamier flavors... seems if I turn up on them too much they just taste like burnt caramel

I've had the same experience with those coils, and found the flavor turned burnt at anything over about 3.5 volts for me. Nothing wrong with that, it's just so common to read about people rocking at higher voltages that it sounds like everything should handle it. Whatever voltage/resistance combination tastes good to you is the right one!

I think that's a Kanger issue, my protank mini did that often to me on just a regular ego battery I'd take 5-6 toots & boom burnt taste & even now for me at 3.2 volts I get a burnt taste only thing I can assume is that it just isn't wicking fast enough.

When I vape on fruity flavors it depends on what tank I am using as to what voltage I put it on. If I am using the Nautilus I put it at 3.5v because anything over taste burnt to me. When I use a AeroTank or Protank I can vape at around 4v and it taste fine.

The point of a VV/VW device is to dial in to what works best, not to assume that more is going to be better. One coil to the next variations, your liquid, it's PG/VG ratio, the flavorings and how they react to heat, even your drag style - it all factors in to determining what setting works best.
