4 days ago I bought the eGo One starter kit, I put in the 0.5ohms atomizer and went on my way... The first two days were awesome, and then after that it started to taste burnt. Yesterday I went and bought new flavour, put it in and it was nice tasting for a few hits, but then still gross and burnt... So, I put in the 1.5ohms atomizer and nothing changed. I tried a different flavour, still gross. It used to haul and give off great flavour and I know that I couldn't have burnt out my 0.5 atty in a few days, plus I didn't use the 1.5 atty at all so that couldn't be burnt out either.

Does anyone know why this is happening or what I can do to stop this from happening? Would be much appreciated! Thank you!

If I was betting .. I would say you burnt out your first atomizer and then fitted a new one without priming it properly.

This may not be your answer, but it has happened to many people.
I agree with this. try a different coil and be sure to prime it.

The fact is that you got it fried, how much you really can not tell. The smell may wear off after a tank or two but is it worth it over a new atomizer head? Your call.
Beware of your wattage as already foretold, 0,5 heads can get high, but start low (13-15w)and then begin to raise your wattage.
Priming is a nice way if you are in a hurry to vape at the begining nothing wrong with it, and finally you have to be cautious of how thick(VG High) are your juices, maybe the atomizer's feeding can not keep up with the thickness of your juice, or the intensity of your vaping! ;)

My friend got the evic vt, same tank. He put in some juice and it was popping and crackling at any wattage, and was burning. Changed the coil, same thing. I put it on my mod and the same results. He was using some. 3mg juice that his friend gave him so we don't know the vg content. But I put in some of mine, 75vg, 3mg nic, and its fine. So it could be the juice. I wish i know what the juice he was using was but even his friend doesn't know.

If priming your coil is the problem see below.

All cotton coils have to be "primed" well with juice. If they are not primed well the cotton will burn. Unfortunately, once the cotton is burned the burned taste doesn't go away.

To prime the coil, drop 5-8 drops (sometimes less/more depending on the size of the coil head) of juice right inside the coil, another drop of juice in all the holes on the side of the coil. Put the coil in the base, fill the tank and screw the base back onto the tank. Once you put the tank on the battery give it several unpowered primer puffs. This will make sure the wick is fully saturated.

Beware of your wattage as already foretold, 0,5 heads can get high, but start low (13-15w)and then begin to raise your wattage.
Just a FYI. The eGo ONE is not a variable v/w devise. It operates much like a mechanical but with built in protection.

could be the juice, could be the way you press the button while vaping... Ive seen people press the button for a couple of seconds before they draw on it and continue to hold the button even after they quit drawing on it...
but since you mentioned that it was good in the begining and became worse as time went on, I would say the wick got gunked up, dried out a bit and got too toasty... most "throwaway"coils only last a few days (3-5) with average juice, if you get a sweet juice or a dark one, the lifespan is even shorter before the burnt taste shows up.... when changing coils, drip a bit of juice into the coil chamber before installing it....

+1 for priming new coil (put juice straight on it, fill tank & let sit 15+ mins)
Also +1 for VG/PG ratio -- VG is much thicker and ego one doesn't have the best juice flow for high VG, so best to buy 50/50 (or close to it) juices -- tip, if your juice is high VG, you can thin down with distilled water. Must be distilled re what's in tap water etc you don't want to vape lol. IME, 3 drops per 30 ml is enough to help in most cases
