I started vaping about 3 weeks ago and all was good til a couple of days ago. I am using the Ego Twist and even after changing the cartomizer in the tank I am getting hardly and vapor and when I heat the atomizer up a bit to get vapor I end up with a burnt taste I have tried 3 different tanks all the same even tried just the cartomizer on its own without being in a tank same bloody thing? Have my juices gone bad?! They're only 3 weeks old.

I think I figured it out, when I dripped a few drops on the atomizer It went perfectly again. I prime the carto before I use it, I did read something about the holes not being big enough if you are a power vapor like myself. Is there a good way to make the holes bigger? I'm using 50/50 presently and just ordered some 70/30.

It sounds to me like the original carto in the tank may have been different(in some way)
from the new ones you are using.

Regardless, if a new carto doesn't even work when it's not in a tank it's a
carto problem, even straight VG should give you at least a couple good hits
before the flavour goes south.

At the risk of stating the obvious here(sorry), clean and dry all connections, don't
over tighten the carto on the battery and begin vaping at lower volts gradually increasing
as you go, allow time between vapes for wicking to take place.

I've also read that there are a lot of "crappy" mass produced cartos out there lately,
hopefully you didn't get some of those.

It's frustrating when you're doing "everything" right....yet "can't get no satisfaction".

All the best!!!....Good luck, keep at it!

Don't know how to expand the holes because I don't use that type of tank system.... But, if you want to dilute/thin your juice a bit for the immediate (and power vaping), you could always just add a few drops of straight PG or distilled water to you existing juice & that shld do the trick for now.

Dermel the carto with slots. Up to yesterday I wasn't having any luck with pre-punched cartos or even ones I punched myself. So far 24 hours in and this one is working great!

Now that's a hole I'm surprised you don't flood the carto. Are you vaping 100% vg juice.

I picked one up at Canadian Tire for about 7 or 8 dollars. I asked at Home Depot and the guy had no clue what I was talking about.

Gatineau's canadian tire there are $5.97 with tax, I got one today.
P.S I didn't mark or anything just hand snug tight and with the flange of the smoktech dcc snug to the bottom plate and the hole is only up maybe 2.5mm from bottom edge of the inside of the tank.

It's the 6ml DCT tank, 2.8ohm Smoktech carto with 2x slots done with a dremel, on my lava tube at 4.5 volts, filled with my DIY Key Lime / Lemon pie juice.
