Burnt taste

Hello everybody, im new to vaping and i have an itaste vv3. I have a problem with the iclear16 tanks, i always fill my tanks over the 1.6ml mark, and it tastes really nice, but when the liquid goes close to the .8ml it starts to have the burnt taste. My question is if this is normal for clearomizers? are the wicks not getting enough juice to the coils?

Also i think i burned my first iclear 16 cause now even if i fill it up it still has the burnt taste, i used it for like 1 week, is that the regular lifespan of these delivery sytems?

Do i need to clean my tanks constantly, if so, how?

Your clearomizer wicks from the top which is the reason for the tilt.
Bottom coil clearos don't need tilting.

I had these to start, you gotta keep dunking them when they get low on juice, I mean tilt em upside down quickly before you take a toot. That way you keep the wick wet near the coil at the top. Once u get a burnt taste u may need to replace the head or tank cos uve effectively scorched the tiny silica wick and washing it may only delay for a short while replacing it altogether. I switched pretty quickly from them to something you can sort yourself, check out the kanger t3s or a vivi nova u can really get into setting these up yourself with a bit of patience n practice and much better quality of vape.
