Hey Vapers,

just got my first e-cig, a vivi nova from msia. so i tried the apple and strawberry juices, but the taste was so burnt, i went to search online.
they said about dry burning and stuff, so i tried it. but after dry burning, the taste was not that strong, but it's still there :(. it's been a week, i wonder if it is the juice, or do i have to dry burn multiple times??? Help appreciated, kinda into vaping now, and this prob is killing me :p

If you're getting a burnt taste right from the get-go, then likely your vivi nova is not wicking well. This could happen for a number of reasons.

Is it a top-coil or bottom coil design? (is the coil near the top or bottom of the tank). If top-coil, make sure you tilt it enough when you vape to keep the liquid level near the coil. This can help wicking some. If it's a bottom-coil design give a couple "primer puffs", just suck on it a couple times without activating your battery. You should see an air bubble or two come up from the coil area indicating that you've fed juice to it

Another possibility is that the juice you're using may be too thick to wick properly in that device. If it's a thicker juice containing mostly VG then you can thin it out a little by adding a couple drops of either plain PG or distilled water. Just got with small additions, though, a little goes a long way sometimes
