Hope my title is not confusing. I wanted to comment on the butterscotch flavor I just got from Dawn at DIY FlavorShack. Being new to mixing my own brew, I looked at several sites before deciding that DIY FlavorShack had everything I would need. Being able to get all of your supplies from one vendor is very handy. I ordered a Silver DIY kit and an assortment of flavors including the butterscotch. I tend to go for the "sweetie" kind of flavors, so my order was mainly things like chocolate, vanilla, maple flavoring, honey, etc. Then I noticed the butterscotch and added it on as well. Boy, am I glad I did. The first juice I made was straight chocolate and it was wonderful. But I wanted it a little sweeter. I did get some of the Eythol Malto sweetener, but for snickers decided to try using the butterscotch flavoring instead after earlier taking a whiff of it. I put in several drops and WOW..... what a difference a few drops makes. It made the chocolate even better. My second batch was straight butterscotch and it too was great. Needless to say, I'm running on fumes with butterscotch now and am putting together another order from DIY FlavorShack.
I can not say enough about the personal service I received from Dawn. I must have sent 10 emails before my first order and she patiently and clearly answered each of my newb questions. I finally ordered and the process was seamless. I was kept informed during the whole process. My order came in short order and I about fell off my chair as I went through the box. I had heard she included some "extra" stuff, but I was amazed at her generosity. I now have my own little food chemistry lab set up. Of course, I had some questions after I rec'd the order, and once again, her answers were swift and on point.
I can say that I will be ordering much more in the future from Dawn. She is a vendor who really does care about her customers. I would highly recommend DIY FlavorShack to anyone who is considering making their own juice. Between her high quality products and the great support she offers, you can not go wrong. Kudos to DIY FlavorShack.

I'm happy to hear that you and your sister had a good experience with DIYFlavorShack, Slyfox. Isn't that butterscotch great? It makes a great sweetener as well as standing on its own. I'll try to post some recipes, but you may want to look at the program eJuiceMeUp by Breaktru. eJuice Me Up - e-Juice e-Liquid Recipe Calculator I think some of my recipes are included when you download the program. It's a great program and not difficult to use.
I find it odd that some people try to discourage those of us who are new to DIY from buying kits that contain what you need to get started. To me that is the easiest and fastest way to get going. Rather than get everything from one place, they want to go from vendor to vendor just to get the best prices. When you factor in the fantastic level of service you get when you buy from Dawn, it makes the little bit of cost savings pale. DIYFS has a great selection of flavors and Dawn will give you all the help and advice you need.
Glad you are enjoying making your own juice. Besides having fun making your own creations, you are also saving a ton of money in the long run.
Thanks for your very kind post...... horton
