Button feels like it has gotten stiffer, and I have to push it harder to get it to fire. In the menu's it like "double clicks" where I'll hit the button and nothing will happen, then I hit the button and it does 2 actions at once. It also clicks a little now. I bought it new from Provape on 9/17.

Since I got it, I've only dropped it once and that was shortly after I got it, and it still worked fine until like this last week. Is this something I should do a warranty return on or is it normal or should I just deal with it? It still works, just getting annoying if I let off the pressure when vaping it.

Probably time for an iso bath -- contact provape support; they will likely ask you to try this.

Iso bath? I have had one of my Provaris for 10 months/ it still works like new, never Iso bathed it...

I also had a Provape1 I used for over 2 years(daily) and never had any problems...

What makes the electronic switch in the ProVape-1 so special?

A: The electronic switch circuit in the ProVape-1 was created using military design rules. This is the same process used in the creation of equipment for our nations space exploration and defense forces. These are tough and reliable systems; much more so than simple mechanical switches

Send yours in, something is wrong with it.....

My provari is acting similar but it is also turning off and flashing like the battery was just put in.

I thought the contacts needed cleaned or something of the like(coming from mechanicals with kick I know contacts gotta be pristine)

Well the board is either loose or not seated correctly in the body. I can move the board with very light pressure and a qtip. Pressing the button moves the board to the point the contact comes out of contact with the battery I think.

Messaged provape from their website waiting for them I guess to tell me to ship it back. Its only a couple of weeks old :/

I've never needed to either, nor am I the person who posted having an issue. I was simply repeating advice I've seen provape staff give here to help someone else. I'm not quite sure why you're quoting the provape faq to me either. Thanks for trying to help, I think?

No disrespect BlueAdept... I just quoted the Provape facts to let people know how reliable the switch is..... I know you can clean the contacts with Iso, never heard of the Iso bath though?

The one thing I do know about Provape mods is that they dont liked to be dropped... The body will hold up/mabey you will get a ding. But the chip board can be jarred loose.. Never dropped my Provaris, I did have a Provape1 that was slippery little devil... It was dropped numerous times and the board did come loose... When the button was pushed you could feel the movement inside....

No offense taken, was confused. I agree the switches are great, and also mine have survived a number of drops without the board coming loose (hope I'm not jinxing myself!).

For the ISO bath they say to take a .... glass full of ISO, dump it in the tube and swish it around a bit, dump it out then let it evaporate/dry well, and that helps remove juice that has coated the board, switch parts, etc.
