Great advice above, but what I would do is....

Just lay the string across the firing button and then press the button cover on. LOL.

I think we should send out a memo, don't you? If you don't think so then I think it should go to the committee for consideration. We'll have to wait as 4 of our members are out of the country consulting. Without those members we don't have a quorum thus any decisions are not binding. The bylaws do state that other persons can be brought in to fill in temporary if this situation should arise. This can be decided in our next meeting. Lets send out a memo considering when our next meeting should take place. I'll bring the donuts. Jelly, creme filled..anyone?

I have 2 button covers coming in the mail. USPS said they should have arrived on Monday, but they didn't. They didn't arrive Tuesday either. The mail isn't here yet today. Can someone do something about this? I want to be able to ask how to install them, but I can't, since I don't have them. I hope I can remember the installation procedure.

I'd like Bavarian Cream filled, please. I can pick up bagels, cream cheese and lox on the way in if you'd like?

Oh, and in case no one has mentioned it yet - lay the thread across your firing pin, in the locked position, and place brass button over that, trim it up and you should be good to go.

I know how slow the folks around here can be about answering questions, so I didn't want to keep you waiting much longer. :)
