Unique to this device and the first we have seen as at this release, is the device allows variable wattage output by using PWM (pulse width modulation) or can be switched to a mechanical MOD type mode with DC-DC mode - this bypasses all circutry and acts like a mechanical MOD.
A suitable high discharge capable 18650 sized battery is required
