buying directly from China?

How many U.S. members of this forum buy directly from China? I was looking at one of the Chinese web sites (ruyandirect) and was amazed by the prices compared to what the U.S. based companies are charging. I'm thinking that once I get my order from njoy I might buy a 901 and some juice from China. They don't disclose shipping costs or delivery times until the end of the check out process. I'd like to have a general idea before I order so any information you all could provide will be appreciated. Also, if there are problems at customs do these companies refund your money?

It's really only worth it if you're buying in bulk. Shipping isn't that much. I just ordered some 801 atomizers, some 901 atomizers, batteries and juice and the shipping was $12.

I've purchased from China and ruyandirect specifically and had no issues with customs. It took about nine days to reach me in Texas. The shipping was 12 bucks, there was a cheaper shipping option but I didn't want to wait that long. I know there has been fear of shipments being seized but I have not heard of any specific instances where it actually happened...

The other thing is if you are buying in bulk, it pays to email them and ask for a price rather than just accept the prices they have there. I bought 25 attys from a China company including the shipping and it came out to be almost 1/2 the price for what the attys go for in the US.

A couple months ago I ordered 100 901 cartridges from this place and it took 36 hours for it to go from their place in China to my front door. $12 shipping charge. I couldn't believe it.

I think our small orders of whatever are pretty safe. I think it's the suppliers buying the huge, huge orders that alerts customs.

I've ordered a couple times from ruyandirect and they've been great. Sure shipping takes a couple weeks but if I'm not in a hurry, it's worth it.

Thanks for all the prompt replies, folks. $12 shipping is not that much considering I'm paying either 12 or 6 dollars to have my NJOY starter kit shipped from Arizona (?) to California. Once I decide on a juice I'll probably buy some in bulk from ruyan. They've got 901s for sale for $29. I'd like to pick up one of those, some atomizers and batteries as well. Are their 901s the same product that the U.S. suppliers are charging $75 for?

yeah they're the same--original 901's. Got a big order from them at the PO I'm going to pick up right now. I got 2 kits, 55 carts, 90 ml of juice, & 4 atomizers for $152 shipped in 6 days from my payment day(which was on their weekend). You couldn't even touch an order like this anywhere else for under $300.

I have bought from 6-7 US suppliers as well as directly from China. I have had no problems mixing and matching 901 parts. Delivery via EMS (China) and USPS (US) has been about 10 days.

I would choose the 20$ EMS shipping option. To me it seems more likely to get through and it's been much quicker delivery time for me.

I paid $15 for EMS shipping from David Yang at Eastmall and it was at my door in one week. Saturday delivery, too!

Last order of 2 Ruyan disposables and 7 4075 atomizers took all of 4 days to make it to my door from Ruyan Direct.

I picked paid for the more expensive shipping, and it was totally worth it.

Not completely true I picked up 4 extra 901 kits from www.e-cigarette-mart.com at $29.99 each including shipping. Have yet to see anyone who can touch this price.......it took 10 days to get to me, but since they were extras I could afford to wait. You can get atomizers from Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop for $6.00 each and free shipping. No bulk order required. I just purchased 20 more today. I assume it will take 10-14 days to get to me........

I jusr purchased some 801 atomizers and some liquid from david yang at eastmall. The shipping was $18. I also earned some money towards my next purchase which was so impressive...already like $8 I think! It took almost 2 weeks, but I'm in Nebraska. The whole time, my tracking number would not register with EMS OR USPS, but it got here in pristine condition today. All in all, I have seen US companies that have shipped in that same amount of time...but for the twice the price! Would I buy from China again...heck yeah!

I ordered 25 901 attys from best ecig last week and as of this morning they have cleared and been released from US customs so they are on their happy way. I believe I paid around $5.40 a piece AFTER shipping.
