I have a vamo v2, svd, and i used a few SIDs before and in my honest opinion i love them all for different reasons. The SID is a great mod. It is light, not too large in 18650 mode, and i love the OLED screen but i hate single button mods. I cant stand cycling through the menu every time i want to adjust or check resistance. In 18350 mode, I love my vamo. 18350 vamo and an aspire bdc is my "walk out the door" setup. The vamo is very durable (dropped it countless times without issue) and in 18350 mode it is nice and small. 18650 vamo is way too big IMO. Whenever i use 18650 mode vamo, I feel like gandalf banishing the balrog. It... is... large. The SVD is probably my favorite out of the 3 because of its performance and reliability. IMO i prefer the "look" of 18350 vamo, but 18500 SVD is the perfect mod. 18500 SVD isnt too large, very durable (I've kicked it accross the parking lot on countless occasions by accident), and in my experience, the buttons last a lot longer on the SVD. 18650 SVD is way too large for me to carry around though.
As i am writing this i feel the need to point out that taste is subjective (duh). What i like in a mod might not be what you like. You may love single button mods where-as i despise them. I prefer 3 buttons, durability, and consistant performance. With those criteria in mind, I would suggest the SVD out of the 3.
Side note: if youre not too turned off by the box mods, the MVP version 2 is my favorite over all of the above mods. I dont like to carry it in public but for an at-home mod, the MVP v2 is perfect.
Hope i helped someone with a decision. If not, i got this off my chest :) VAPE ON!:toast:
