A word of warning to anyone new to vaping and being tempted by the Ego clones from Chinese 'copyists'.
When i first started vaping i had so many requests from workmates on where they could get a cheap device to try out that i ordered 10 sets from China. Total cost incl postage was $250.
10 new converts to vaping at $25 each. i should get a medal !
I waited 2 months for the kits to arrive and eagerly opened the box to see my goodies. They looked identical to my genuine Egos.
I immediately plugged in a couple of batteries (which felt a bit lightweight but appeared solid enough). Oh Dear... both chargers literally melted after 10 minutes use (luckily i was keeping an eye on them). I then decided to have a really good look through all 10 sets.
In all i had 7 batteries which had obviously been sent out with major faults and i simply couldn't trust any of the chargers.

To cut a long story short i returned the lot at a cost of $45 and the supplier has denied recieving them.
Now i'm not saying that all chinese sellers are the same but this was an expensive (and embarrasing, when i had to tell my workmates their waiting was in vain) lesson for me.

Never buy direct from China unless you are covered by Escrow, Paypal etc.

So endeth this lesson.

That's unfortunate.

We have a few registered suppliers here on ECF from China and many people are very happy with their purchases. I guess it really does depend who you purchase from.

If you're new to vaping and have lots of questions or you're unsure about what you've purchased, you may want to purchase from a supplier closer to you. Easier to get faster service or have a question answered that way.

Sorry you had a bad experience.

Me and many of my friends have been getting eGo's from a Chinese vendor called BestEcig-High quality mini e-cig|e-cigarette|eGo,best e-liquid|e-cigs wholesale and have had no problems at all.

Delivery time was excellent (if I order on the weekend I have it by Thursday at the latest), Customer service is great (Beci usuall responds within a couple of hours) and the quality of the product is fantastic.

I think you might have had a bad experience and are generalising.

Often the holdup in shipping time comes down to local customs too.

This particular vendor gets all the orders for our eGo's (only use these as backup's these days) and I also get my accessories and CE4's & CE5's from them.

I cannot reccomend them highly enough.

Like locally - there are always a few bad vendors and products but one can't throw them all into one bucket.
