Anyone have anything against buying stuff directly from smoktek instead of other distributors?

smoktek is a retail supplier, Smoktech is the company in China who manufactures the items that smoktek sells. If you are thinking about buying directly from a manufacturer in China be aware of MOQ's and you don't really know what you're going to get, although they do have a great rep. Look for warranties and remember, if you order direct from China, and you have a problem with an item(s), the cost of shipping is huge. Does that answer your question?
