Sounds like an awesome show 5c :) Some really great bands, and the Dead showing up unexpectedly, can't get better than that !!!!

It was the most insane 3 days of my life. I ended up leaving $700.00 richer than when I went and it was music, lovin, and eating. What I wouldn't give to be young again. Ya the Dead showed up. Hendrix was there, and on and o.........

You wouldn't want to be young today, for the most part concerts are not what they used be. We went to see the Black Crowes several years ago and the show lasted about an hour! The drive to the venue lasted longer then the show!
I know. Everything that you have a good time at they put a stop too. When I was young you could cruise in your ride but they enacted a no cruising law for the generation that followed.

Was that a photo of a purple pro buzz?
Whoa.......I wasn't even interested in a buzz until I saw that pic. Now I need the Infinity pro in Chrome & the Buzz pro in purple. That is so hot!

I took my son to see Roger Waters here in Houston this year........He's 11, yeah he got the shirt with "the teacher" on it. He thinks he super cool now :) He wasn't conceived at a dead show, but loves seeing the photos of me & his sperm donor during the summer '93 & '94 tours. "Hunter Sage" also got to see Skynard, Dave Matthews & Jack Johnson last summer..........yep, gotta teach 'em early.

First shot with a light box (low quality). I think I need to bump the ISO and iron out that crease. Kind of depends if you like that look or not. I am torn.

Depending on your equipment you might not need the box at all... Some of the best shots I have seen (or taken) have been done in natural sunlight! Then if you knock out the backgrounds you do not have to worry about shadows or creases in your backdrop etc.. Here is your photo on a light grey background, with a slight drop shadow!

It is like Ford or a Chevy but once you choose you almost never switch because Canon glass does not work on Nikon and vise-versa. So if you have more than the glass that came with it....

My friend has a new Nikon and it is sweet but the menu system seems foreign to me. Not that it is hard... just different.

I do not have to justify my camera expences to the hubby because they are business expence! Was even able to write off my 150 - 500mm! Mostly everything else has to be justified though!

Can you shoot with can canon SLR's by looking through the LCD screen? That is one of the things I like about the Nikon, you must look through the view finder. It feels more like an old school 35mm that way!

Exactly. LOL

Staying semi on topic. I picked up the new Aperture 3 and WOW I am impressed. I had a real bad taste in my mouth from version 1 and the 1.5 upgrade but the new version is KILLER. I managed to collapse 10 years of digital photos from 4 machines into one GIANT library, wack all the dupes (masters and versions), and, using the new Faces feature, tag all my family and friends. I am trimmed down to a mere 10,000 photos that are easy to find! It is like a weight is off my shoulders.
