I've been on e-cigs since 12/31/2011, and am on my third device (An Ego-C). Though I really like aspects of the Ego-C, I had my eyes on a Buzz Pro because of the variable voltage (Flavors don't seem to come through even with the Ego-C low res atty), lower price than a Provari/Darwin (Doesn't look like a digital tire gauge or electric toothbrush), and good reviews I have seen (e.g., Grimmgreen, PBusardo, and several forum members). I had the following questions about the Buzz Pro. Any informed advice/opinions will be greatly appreciated.
1- Is there a cone available for the Buzz Pro that would accommodate the Ego-C atty base/Atty heads ? Accommodating the tank for the Ego-C would be a plus as I haven't had luck with cartomizers (Had my eye on the Vision Stardust when it becomes available again).
2- I'm sure the Buzz Pro's batteries will die over time, but after replacement the device itself should continue working for years (Correct?).
3- Is it tough ? I've read several members mention the toughness of Provari's (e.g., Dropping them, still worked).
4- Is 5.5 volts enough ? I've seen several box mods have substantially higher voltage (e.g. 7+ volts).
5- Is there a size difference between the I-Pro and the Buzz Pro ? They look the same as far as function, but I was wondering why the I-Pro was cheaper ?
6- Is anyone aware of a upcoming 18650 version of this product ? I've read that battery type has a better life.

Sorry for the long post, but just want to know what to save for next.

I can help you a little. I've had my Buzz Pro for a month or so and love it. Tough, rugged, yet gorgeous to look at. I also have a vv box mod that goes to 7v so here's my experience with the two.
I am using a punched 2.5 Boge carto in a M1A1 tank on both mods and vaping Vape Heaven from Vapealicious. This is a light colored juice with a lot of complex fruity flavors. On the Buzz I set the control wheel and the center mark (the yellow one) for this juice and it is perfect. On my box mod, with the same tank, carto and juice) I have to drop the wheel down to 3.7v (lowest setting) and this juice is good, but not remarkable. Don't know why, but there is a definite difference. I just noticed this yesterday and am still trying to figure it out. I figure it gives me a good excuse to hit the Buzz all day. For me, the volts go plenty high on the Buzz. If my experience tells me that I like a juice a little hotter than the Buzz will go, I drop down to a lower ohm carto. for example, I like Coffee juice from Copper Creek a little warmer, so I use a 2 ohm carto in that tank.

Batteries- The Buzz pro uses RCR123A rechargable batteries. You will need a specific charger for them. Both batts and charger are available from notcigs.com. I can get between 10 and 12 hours of vaping on a set of batteries before recharging. I have two sets of batteries, so there is always a charged set ready to go. I have no doubt that the Buzz itself will last for years. one post I read was about a guy driving over his Buzz and it was still in good working order.

Don't know anything about the EGo C atty, but if it has recessed threads, I imagine it would work on the Buzz pro with a 510 to 510 adapter.

I don't know answers to any of your other questions. Sorry. However, there are many more experienced vapers on here who will chime in with their knowledge, I'm sure.

I can tell you that you will not be disappointed with a Buzz!

i have ipro and a buzz pro and they are tough i work in the mines and coal power plants and my vape has to work in those conditions and the buzz pro and i pro work in those condtions and for me as i have a a bunch of vv mod boxes and tube vv mods i think 5.5v is plenty and with the switch it has on it you can use just about and atty carto combo out there with adapters i think you would be making a good buy on this the ipro has shorter batt life and the buzz has a longer batt life that is the only real diff i noticed beside the ipro being a lil smaller i can not answer the question about the ego c atty as i dont use 510 i use an 801 or a leo atty and make tank for them myself... i think that you would be making a wise descion on making this purchase but that is just me.. i know i was very happy with this purchase when i madeit hopes this helps

I just received my Buzz Pro a few days ago. It's well made, works great and is simple to use. I "dial to taste" using a 3.0 Boge carto with a M1A1 tank and I'm good to go. The fit and finish is nice and it seems durable. It makes tasty fogs of vapor and the customer service is great (which is really important to me)

I would recommend it. Price, product and service are all a win.
