BWB Backo and Applewood

Applewood - Good flavor, tastes like an apple tobacco, what it's described as on the website. There is a slight "off" flavor with the tobacco, maybe a mildew type flavor. Can't quite describe it but I attribute it to the tobacco base, whatever that is. Not much TH, good vapor.

Backo - Don't want to knock it too hard because I didn't let this steep long but this tasted like plastic tobacco to me. very odd flavor but tastes exactly how it smells! Decent TH, good vapor.

I have some Applewood to arrive tomorrow but I just bought this Backo off of you in the classifieds! Good to read what you thought of it after the fact!

(I am teasing. I'm going to put it away for a month to steep before I even taste it so I'm not too worried about it... just wanted to jazz you a little.)

Ha nice, well even now it's only a week old and I tried it maybe 3 or 4 days after it was made so it probably does need time. Let me know what you think!

So far I really only taste the apple with the Applewood but my taste buds are still smokified and also just have 510 attys mostly LR at this point which may not be the best flavor producers. The apple is still subtle to me too though and I like it a lot.

Applewood is my FAVORITE - I think! I purchased mine from FSUSA however. It has a "smokey" flavor more than an apple flavor - maybe that's the wood part? Dunno.

Agreed, the BWB tobaccos taste like a mildewy rotten log to me. I've got 15ml bottles of Applewood, Maple Tobacco, and Cherry Tobacco and they all taste like that. Mine are about a month and a half old and still have that flavor so steeping didn't improve them any. They'll probably all go up for sale or trade in the classifieds so someone else can make use of them.

I received BWB Applewood yesterday. I love it! I vaped it right out of the mailbox until I went to bed. It was my first vape this morning. The TH is excellent with plenty of vapor. The apple tastes like a real apple. There is a subtle tobacco flavor, which to me is exactly what I wanted.
