Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Peter, I am with you...I don't really understand the need or love of sub ohms...my hubs on the other hand...hmmm....he likes it. Of course I don't vape tobacco juice either so I am not sure if that plays into it at all.
I usually vape between 9-11 watts which is usually 1.2-1.5 ohm coil on a mechanical device.

Well I don't usually do sub ohms either.I prefer the "healthier" way for the circuit.I vape 100% VG but I found out that dual coil or organic cotton work as well as straight sub ohms if not better. Then again this is only my opinion with my liquid and my setup :D

Why this photo? Because of that little thing below the drip tip. That's right.... The Beck.
Billie you've changed everything, again. :)

The extra section removed to show the Beck better.

Billie I sure hope it's ok to post these. After all, this is what the Beck is for. And it sure does it's job. :vapor:

hi guys, newbie sophia and slim tank owner here hoping you can help me out,got my slim tank direct from byleo today(excellent shipping Athens to Belfast in 5 days)went to change from the ready assembled small tank to the large,as i was removing the base from the tank i noticed it was tearing the oring to shreds i stopped and pushed it back up,my first question is does anybody know what size the outer orings are so i can replace them as id much rather use the longer tank, question 2 after setting the sophia up when i open the juice flow i notice it develops a bit of a wobble, was just wondering if this should happen, cheers

Hello! I am very sorry about that. If you want, please send me on a PM your address I will send you new ones.
And second, yes if you open the liquid control a lot (like for thick VG liquids) it wobbles a bit since it has only two "ears" that hold the upper body in place so the liquid can go to the wick freely.:)

I must say I have been vaping my Sophia in a scuba tank for the entire day and am in heaven! A nice 50-50 mix of chimp berries uncrushed & monkey cream. The vape is so darn moist - I never thought I'd be sporting a carto type RDA again.

Can't wait for the tank I won to arrive at my mail box so I see how she looks :)

I've gone through QUITE a few RBAs and RDAs. I still have a variety in my vaping arsenal. The Sophia is the smallest of the entire lot. And I have to admit, it packs the most powerful punch all around. The vapor that is produced is thick, cloudy white. The flavor shines (and some flavors do well in different attys). There is nothing that can't be vaped in Sophia that I've tried. The TH that is delivered is there...hands down.

I've never tried the Killer, I will admit that. But the Sophia is the top atty for versatility and vaping enjoyment. Heck, I even have used it as a dripper and dripped into the extension tube. A quick blow into the tube and it's ready for vaping.

Add the comfort of the bOd Mecha, and you have quite the combo. Actually quite easy to fire, because it goes with natural hand motion.

A+

The nice thing about the juice control being so easy to use on the Sofia is that if you're tired of the flavor you're vaping you can close it off and wait till it's starting to dry out , drip with a different flavour for a bit , then vape that till it's almost dry and open the juice control again. I used to do this with my Killer a lot.

As for the bOd mech, the design intrigues me and I love the idea of it. I may try to purchase one in the coming months.

ok...can we talk about the "nail" drip tip for a moment? This is a MUST HAVE!!! We all know that I don't use metal drip tips so why am I saying this?? forget the fact that it is a cool drip tip (if you like SS)...but as a tool??? MUST HAVE!
It is so smooth/rounded all the way around so it really protects orings. It makes filling the tank something totally different! you can fill that tank up blind folded!!! Use it as a plug to do maintenance on the coil...it's just everything.

I'm telling you...next time you place an order, make sure you put the NAIL drip tip on the list!!!

Usually, sub ohms are used for very thick liquids.VG is a lot thicker that PG so when you vape heavy VG liquids you need more heat to vaporise them.Of course if you try the same setup with PG, you will taste burnt because the rate of vaporising the liquid will be faster than the rate thet the wick replenishes. As for the "relationship" between ohm, volts watts: With a few words ,watts are the result of volts, Ohms and Amps. For more details, here is a link with the calculator and all the mathematical calculations and information you may need.
also here is the volt-ohm chart :
edajeqed_zpse5b170ae.jpg

8 Watts is a usual watt reading for e-cigs so you are in the right place
Of course, other people will offer extra info as well :)

OK - this makes a bit more sense to me. I've seen this image before, and use it as a guideline. So far, all the juice I vape is 80/20 VG/PG - and mostly tend to be some blend of vanilla :)

If using a 'VV' device at all times, why would I want a coil outside the 1.8-2.4 range ever (using 80/20 juice)? I realize folks have different goals/wants - I am about flavor/taste more than the amount of vapor I can produce. Perhaps this is part of the issue?

Why use a 3+ ohm coil ever?
Why (in my case) use a sub-ohm coil ever?

Again, am *NOT* slamming at all, I simply wish to learn??

When I first started vaping I used that chart a lot and tried to stay in the middle of green. These days though I vape pretty much everything at 12-14+ watts because that's just where I like my vape. According to that chart that means that most of my juice will burn or taste bad etc but I don't find that to be the case.

My two main regulated devices have amp limits of 3.5, the Provari and a Mamu nivel mod.

In a single coil setup the ideal coil for me is generally 1.3 ohms. I can vape that coil from 6 to 15 watts on the Provari (the same goes for the Mamu mod (though that has VW built in).

What about your juices? What is the PG/VG ratio? Can that be part of the reason for the higher wattage? I assume the low ohm coil is that if you were to use (say) a 2.4ohm coil, you couldn't get the volts high enough to get the wattage you prefer? Am I thinking right here?

I vape 30PG at most , and generally 20PG or 100VG.

As for 1.3 and 2.4 ohms, both can run at 13 watts on the Provari fine. But to get a 1.3 coil to 13 watts is only 4.1v and a 2.4 coil is 5.6v. So id rather run the lower ohm coil and save some battery power in the process. After 1.3 you just start running in to diminishing returns on your voltage and wattage so there isn't much point IMO to go much higher than that.

Though it can also come down to coil and wire type too. I just now put a new coil in my Sofia. It's a 7 wrap of 30g for a micro coil that comes out to 2ohms. If I'd used 28g it would have probably been a little closer to the 1.2-1.5 range but I'm low on 28g and I'm going to save that for dual coils in my trident and nimbus.

So (see if I understand), the lower ohms makes it possible to achieve the desired wattage at a lower voltage, thereby extending battery life, etc...

And, as the PG percentage increases in the juice, 'you' find (many people, or just you, or everyone?) that a higher wattage is desired to get a good vape (flavor, temp, vapor, etc).

So, then that leaves me still wanting to understand sub-ohms and micro-coils (same thing??). While many of the above reasons make perfect sense, I feel like I am missing something here on the entire sub-ohm/micro-coil thing?
