I have always kept the tails tucked-in under the cup. Works for me ~as a buffer zone and also helps against leaking by 'containing' any unnecessary runaway liquid.

7. Wicks cut and tucked-in:
Screwed-in the body tube to cut-off the wick tails... opened it up once again and tucked-in whatever cotton was left under the base.
End Note:
It's about 24-hrs now that I'm exclusively using this setup. Was at work y'day night ~ thus it pretty much was used non-stop. Sophia is holding this microcoil and cotton build very well. In fact it's acting as a force multiplier. I'm firing it with a 30Amps Sony and the VTF is amazing out of this li'l fella! As you can see from the images I haven't opened the juice control as much as I did with my earlier build ~ and yet there's absolutely no stopping. Feeds right, wicks right and vapes right. This is a setup I can wholeheartedly recommend.

The V build is pretty tricky. I've make a few and only manage to get one right.
When dry, I can see a clear hole from the center post. Once wet, cotton expand and block the airway:-(

Is the bigger gap there where the mod ends and the atomizer starts? It looks a little tall, but pretty nice.

I can't stress how important it is to have extra parts. I was cleaning one of my Sophias and was trying to get the pin out. When I did get it out it flung across the bathroom and into the sink and down the drain.I had to take the pipe off the bottom of the sink to get it back. And this is when I found out the last plumber do a mickey mouse job on things so I couldn't put things back together so tomorrow I have someone come and fix the pipe.
Girl now THAT'S what I call good vision. You get a perfect 10 from me just for being able to follow it to see where it ended up!

It has a gap with the MECHA because the MECHA is 23mm and the atty is 22mm in diameter.It sits flush with all 22mm mods. The P3 base will have a slight angle for the 0,5mm change in diameter (the P3 is 22,5mm in diameter as we measured it)
I wouldn't say it is long, as it is about 26mm tall.
it looks fabulous Billie. One of the best looking drippers if not the best looking I have seen. Also can't recall seeing a design like this out there. And knowing you it will be a super vape. I can not wait. It really looks super. Also it will be my first by Leo dripper as I held out to get this one.

You are lucky your girlfriend gives you that blank stare. Mine gave me a very mischievous one and continued to steal mine. No probs because I have two but you are lucky for the blank stare. I am sure you will love the sophia. Have not tried the cage but I only need the little one as I change out juice so quickly.
