Has any found a supplier or company that has tobacco e-juice like or very similar to MFS Turbosmog, Tall Paul, or Red Luck?

Billie, can I get the dimensions I need to have glass or PMMA cut for the Slim tank? Thanks in advance!

Is the plexiglass the same as PMMA?

I am out of town and I don't remember exactly. I will phone in tomorrow and get the specs to post them. I am very sorry for the delay!

I've got my Sophia in my Cage, wicked and running beautifully...sitting atop my P3.
It sits flush, and looks amazing...

HOWEVER...as soon as I crack open the body, to let juice into the wick chamber (which works so perfectly I can't believe it), the tank wiggles...
When I close the juice control, the tank doesn't wiggle.
I've gone so far as to put the base portion on my P3 FIRST, and then lightly threading the Cage/Sophia assembly down onto it...so I know the base isn't loose on my P3...the floating pin makes sure of that.

Anyone else experience this wiggle on a flush mount device?

Of course, my Crapatalk app won't let me load any pictures now...
Mr. Murphy, your law still works.

Did you tighten the base to the mod enough.
When you turn the top piece, the bottom should not turn. Also, you only need to open one tutn or so for the juice.

Since the upper body holds itself in place by threading in two threaded wings, if you open the liquid control a lot it will wobble. You can cut your wicks shorter, or use less cotton if you are using cotton, to be able to have good flow with opening the liquid control less :)

Base to mod: Check. She's tight.
Very little turn: Check. I've got her about a quarter turn open...based on that Irish guy's video...Andrew? He says in his video review/tutorial that he found "roughly a quarter turn" to be adequate for juice flow.

Thank you Billie! Such a responsible owner.
I've only got the liquid control open about a quarter turn...
I've got my wicks at the length the Sophia cuts them. I'm using the same organic Japanese cotton (the little squares) that I use in my Kayfuns...only I used a LOT less. I'd say maybe 1/3 the amount I use in a Kayfun build. The cotton I'm using wicks VERY well.
In fact, just out of curiosity, I tried opening the juice control a 1/2 turn, and I immediately got a few gurgles...so I closed it all the way, and opened it back up a quarter turn again...I took a few puffs, and no more gurgle.

If it still wobbles, you can put a screwdriver between the wings and open them up just a little bit. Its SS, so it is fairly elastic and strong, it won't break.
If you find it difficult, let me know and I will send you another base :)

In length the short one is 27,5mm and the long is 37,5mm. The OD is 15mm and the ID is around 13mm. Its thickness is 1mm. :)

I thought about spreading the wings with a screwdriver, but I didn't know if I should...I'm glad you suggested it, because I didn't want to hurt my new toy! She's too beautiful!!!
Amazing work, my friend.
I was a carto/tank guy for so long, and then I found Kayfuns...I've got to say, I haven't been this excited about a piece of vape gear in a long time! It works so well!!!! And all topped off by the Cage?!? Breathtaking!!!!

Ladikali, you gotta just jump out of your comfort zone and start rebuilding your own attys. It's a lot easier than you think (unless you've already tried and hated it). After I got my wick (cotton) and wire (Kanthal) I procrastinated about 2 whole months before I finally dived in and tried it. I watched the Video here on how to build the Sofia and it was so easy I only had to watch it twice. :) Seriously, that $9 plus about $5 more will buy you enough rebuilding materials to last you a lifetime and that's only a very slight exaggeration. I will personally offer to guide you thru the short steps and answer any questions you may have. And after you do your first rebuild, you have no idea how good you're going to feel! :)

Edit: Let me know if you already mostly rebuild but just like the wick/wire preinstalled.

hi, thanks for responding. I do rebuild my own coils. but, i have two teens and a 3 year old so sometimes it's like all my gear needs to be rebuilt or re wicked and i got my hands full. so occasionally i like being able to just pop in a wicked coil and go. trust me i sooo perfer the vape from cellucotton than silica. but silica is better than a cigarette. seems like when i'm the busiest, is when things go wrong.

i have my 5 those will probably last a while. I reckon the next time i'll spend closer to $50 and make it worthwhile. i just don't need that many. i can always pick up a couple of becks too. i just tried mine on a regular carto and can not believe the taste difference!!

Find two spacer (those normally use to hold electronics board),one male and one female. Screw them together.

-----------------

Place the spacer on the TOP of Sophia's base
Sofia_Pin_03.jpg

---------------

Turn Sophia PIN side up
Sofia_Pin_04.jpg

------------

Push Sophia's base down, with the spacer.

-----------

When the pole with insulator appear, it'll be easy to remove them by finger.

Do the reverse then putting the center pole back, using the space to guide in place.

That was very clever. But, someone tell me why/when I need to remove the center post and insulator? I may need to and not even know it.;)
