Thanks HB, I'll try is as soon as I finish the current full tank and let you know what happens.

Please do! I'll be interested to hear what you find! I had a couple of problems with my SOPHIA when I first got it, and had to do a few things to overcome the learning curve!

HB, I haven't had the problem which was mentioned, but your answer/solution was great. :toast:

Thanks NewYork! I just try to be as unobtrusively helpful as I can...

I am sorry for the delay. I couldn't find a scale detailed enough. The Cage v2 is about 27 grams. :)

That's quite lite and manageable for me (for comparison my empty SnP is 44g).

I should add that the heavier tanks become my at home kits. This would work as a daytime tank.

I put it on a cooking scale, so it might have missed a few grams, but I will take it with me and try it on paint scale on Monday. It will be more accurate :)

Billy come on. Seriously? If you ask your wife which scale should be more accurate which do you think she'd say? the cooking scale of course.

I have a very accurate jewellers scale for when I DIY but my kitchen scales are very good. You know quite often it's not the actual weight of gear, it's about the weight distribution and balance. If it's balanced then its easy to hold and fire. I can't use those little isticks because they are too small and float in my hand. They actually take a bit of effort to hold whereas something twice as big...say an MVP or my BB's are much more comfortable because of where they sit in my hand.

I have yet to put the Mecha down (with my lightweight tube) and I like it so much I ordered a second one which should be here next week :)

BOTTOMLINE:
This is a sweet tank! I especially like the two-tone finish while using a brass sleeve. The ease of ‘wide-open’ filling without port holes (ala Kayfun4) is a treat. The sleeves are easy to change even while on the move (who does it, but anyway!). The six grooves on the top cap besides adding to the finesse is pretty useful while unscrewing the cap. The glass is thick walled and strong. The edges, including those of the metal sections, are smoothened. Overall the Cage looks very classy ~ a job very well done By Leo!

Folks, pls checkout my review here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/tanks/643038-cage-tank-leo-pictorial.html#post15044213

I like the thinking on turning it upside down to make it bottom filling. Can you show us a pic of it setup that way

The writing will be on top ?

Next question. Can you get the tank without the engraving.

The engraving is done in all caps before we get them for assembly. So if you turn it upside down to use it the engraving will be visible :(
