I find the Sophia wobbles a little in IBTanked tanks, which I don't get with the Dbase. I think this is due to the thickness of the caps, supports it better. I have a dozen+ IBTanked from my carto days, but all I use for my Sophia's are my Dbase tanks. JMHO
ibtank are nicely made, but their cap do not align with Sophia.
You'll have to lift up the tank to vape the last bit of juice.
I own a lot of different tanks along with a couple of the dbase tanks. IMO the most important thing when I use the Sophia is the structural integrity of the side walls of the tank. There is a bit of play when the Sophia is open and the tank needs to be one that has no flex movement in the tube walls from the cap. Otherwise the tank will leak or dump eliquid. One of the nice things about the dbase is exactly that. The tank stays together at wherever you have the eliquid control.
For me the tanks I pick are also about size and aesthetics and performance. They have to be right and the dbase is a well used tank in my rotation.
I have 3 sophia's and they are all in Phiniac tanks. No leaks, slippage or wobble at all and their tanks are a lot thicker than IBTanks.
No but I really want one. The Sophia just had a new version arrive with a different base but the tops still fit. I have loads of v1 stuff so just need the base. Where in London are you from.....Im in Clapham

Yes all my tubes fit. I have two all in one tips, one regular size one that goes with a straight 10 and I presume all my GF's will fit after these do.

Oh I see the quote, well all mine have been working perfectly since I got it and no problems at all with dry hits, It is actually wicking like a beast chain vaping so I really can't see any problem with it. On the same coil and rewicked about 3 or 4 times vaping at 18 watts on a 1.9 coil. If it gets better well my hats off to Billie
