The differences in the Freedom your bosses have, and wish to protect, and your freedom and what you wish can be quite enlightening. To many people freedom seems to mean being able to force others to do their bidding. Slave owners howeled about the loss of their freedom. The industrialists howled at the loss of freedom from labor laws like the minimum wage, and overtime pay.
Be careful when your leaders speak of freedom, their freedom often imperials your own.
Free those beneath you from their greviances, from their hunger, and lack of good work, and work to leash those with great power if they are using it to steal and cheat the weaker among us.
Never confuse "freedom" for "liberty." "Freedom" is the ability of the individual to make independent decisions without external control. "Liberty" means that freedom has been granted to the individual by an external control. I will take freedom over liberty any day.
the only thing I have that's red,white and blue is my flag I carried with me since 67'.It's a little tattered but I still have it.
