Hi, to be serious, we need to campaign to both sides, please:

Summary of Results: Laboratory Analysis of Electronic Cigarettes Conducted By FDA

1% DEG in liquid is abslolutely not acceptable.

This DEG-Problem is very annoying, please ask all sellers to ask their manufacturers to get the chemical Liquid-making processes 100% clean using latest engineering technology+quality practices, or "chinese culture" will down us all soon.

Yours,
Taelon

If it was'nt for "chinese culture" as you put it, we would not have E-Cigs at all.
Anyway why can't our Sellers use European or US manufacturers to make Liquid. That can be done. Or could it be that our Sellers don't want to pay the amount of money that it would cost to have it Manufactured in the West ?
TW are working on making their own liquid as we speak but i still see complaints that they are too Expensive even with their present Liquid.
As it happens i don't think the Chinese give a flying **** about absolute purity. It's still 99.99% safer than smoking tobacco.
The US really does'nt need a trade war with the Chinese. If they take exception to a US Ban on Chinese manufactured goods they might decide not to sell them Hard Drives or CPU's. Whoops. :)

Wow, "Chinese Culture"...really?

Anyway, we haven't exactly been discriminating customers have we? Money talks. If we all keep shopping around for the cheapest available liquid, then we get what we pay for. I really don't care where it's made, but if given the choice, I'll go with something that has some tests behind it and that I know has good quality control. Show me the tests, and I'll show you the money.

What!! So, your saying if it's more expensive then it's gotta be good....That's not right at all. Usually most products, doesn't matter from what manufacturer, cost about the same. The only reason some cost more then others when they finally reach the public is because of how much it costs the businesses to label, import, and advertise their product. Also, how much profit they want to bank.

So, don't be fooled by the, if it's more expensive it's gotta be good, logic, because that's simply not true.

I never said it was. I'm just saying that if they need to raise the price because of better quality control and testing, than I'm willing to pay for it. I'll say it again. We can't expect the public to take us seriously, if the manufactures don't take it seriously. And I'm sorry, but we need better quality control, testing and proper labeling from all manufactures.

That has not been satisfactorily proven as of yet.

I would pay more for better juice in a heartbeat. I think many of us would.

The trouble many of us are having is deciphering the ingredients even when there is an MSDS for the juice.

Like this one from Health Cabin. I know Dekong (kang?) juices are more trusted, but what does 10% ethanol mean to me?

I wiki'd it and it doesn't sound good in juice. Not to be like non- ecig users that believe it's antifreeze, but I haven't a clue what it is and why it's in juice either.

As a consumer, we are at the mercy of those that tell us it is safe. That's just not acceptable long term for me.
