So, i've decided that its time for me to give up the smokes.

I've found a great brand I would like to use, (Sky Cig) from the uk, but I think there maybe problems getting the package into the country, as well as having to wait weeks and weeks for deliver each time.

I would like to use an Aussie product but purely due to the terrible sites I have found which sell E-cigs over here, i havent been drawn to any company.

So, can anyone recommend a good Aussie brand?

Please don't use sky cig. They're very overpriced for a sub par ecig.

A riva or ego will be so much better and if you want one that looks like a cigarette, get a reputable kr808d-1 model and not the tiny ones like at skycig. jacvapour do them in the uk and the brands in the usa are volt, bloog and halo g6.

I'm fairly sure you can import just the ecig parts into Australia, you just can't do nicotine. If you ask the vendor not to ship it with any nicotine in it, they shouldn't be able to confiscate it in customs. That includes any cartomisers.

If you get to 5 posts here, I'm sure some Autralian members would PM you with information or there is an Australia sub forum you could ask on too once you get to 5 posts :)

Here it is: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/australia-new-zealand-forum/

I hope there's enough information for you to go on there, but please don't hesitate to ask for more help if you need it here.

Thanks Leftfield! Really useful info! :)
Really new at this, and know little to nothing about e-cigs, I suppose it was the shiny and easy to use website which attracted me to Sky Cig. Thanks for the advice!

If you want to order from the UK, I'd say this one The Riva 1100 Deluxe Kit £34.95 - Deluxe Vaping Kits - Riva 1100 Kit Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

It's always reccommended for good reason. It's just a great all round ecig and great for that price. Again, ask for no nicotine if you order from the UK.

Add in some cartomisers: Boge 510 Standard Resistance (5) £5.79 - Vaping Spares - Cartomisers Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

Use the code 'allabout' for 10% off too.

Easy to use heating elements and the same as the sky cig. Just need to add some nicotine liquid with whatever taste you want. I think you'd need to get it within Australia or find where people get it from in australia. I really don't know about that, sorry :(

If you want a cigarette type one like the sky cig, this is the one I was talking about: E-cigarette Kits by JAC Vapour Ltd

Use ecr69 for a discount there too. So much better than sky cig and you'll save more money than using sky cig by a long way. Also, ensure no nicotine but you will need to buy blank cartomisers to use with this in kr808d-1 threading (usually just called 808), but they are there on the jacvapour site. You might need to ask them to make sure there's no nicotine in the kit and if you ask they might write that something else is in the package when they send it anyway if you know what I mean.

Here is even cheaper: http://www.ivapour-elixir.co.uk/e-cig/creator-sets/creator-2.html but it's silver batteries only.

Good luck!

Wow!.. I came on here to find out some info, but really didnt expect to get so much help!..

You're right, I think something that appealed to me about the Sky Cig was that they look like real cigs.

Thanks so much LeftField, you have just made this so much easier for me. I'll let you know how I get on, and which I decide on!

Thanks again!
