I had a cigarette with my morning coffee...
It is what it is?
The wife went back to smoking full time and since she's started I've started smoking one here and there. The stupid thing is,is when I'm smoking the cig I actually feel nauseated and hate it.....BUT I still do it...

    Code:
i've been vaping and not smoking for 6 years and 136 days.
my 'counter code' hasn't subtracted the 2 days added so far for leap years so it's ahead of our calendar.

so far this has guestimatedly cost me 6.62% of the $10,733 that hasn't been spent on 34,889 cigarettes (about 1,744 packs) that could've put 25¼ ounces of tar in my lungs.

on the 29th of september 2014, i decided not to smoke another cigarette. .... about 326 weeks ago i did smoke about half a cig. seems i won't be using my zippo as much anymore, but it's going nowhere..

Congrats on the handle change, as well.

Are you that famous Spanish Gamer?

Oh wow that was quick, thought it would take like a couple of days.
    Thanks mods :)

Nah no relation to the gamer, didn't know there was one with that name.
My 2nd first name (in Spain we have 2 first names and 2 last names) is Javier, some call me that or for short they either use Javi or Javichu, always liked Javichu so i used that one :)

P.S: First ''first'' name is Francisco (in Spain those who are named Francisco Javier are usually called Paco...never liked that name, made me seem old hehe) but since english speaking people can't pull off the ZZZ on the letter C in FranCisco my second choice for handle name was ''Frankyboy'' ;)

A bit over 7 years here. 2610 days to be exact. I'm not counting the part of a cig I had as a science experiment about three months after I stopped smoking because I put that one out well before it was finished. That experiment convinced me that I was no longer a smoker.

Must be 10years now as typing this thinking if only I could get Gauloises or Gitanes vape juice as they were my main smoke, Have tried DIY but total fail.

Aye but you'll have discovered as I did that there's nothing you vape will ever be the same as what you smoked. It just can't be done.

As a party piece I can shut my eyes and describe in loving detail the feel of both the original, and the one that followed it, feel of a slide open packet of Senior Service plains and do a routine of a blind man finding he's been served with a packet of Players instead of Seniors ... but do I want to go back to the days when I wore a uniform and got through three packets of them a day - no way!

It will be 7 years June 14 after a 43 year addiction to tobacco, smoking 2 packs a day Sunday - Thursday, the weekend was a different story, I would smoke 4-5 packs a day partying like a animal all weekend. I quit that also, no more animal in me. By the way 1 of my quit banners stopped working correctly.

I've certainly tried to get the unique french tobacco flavour, over the last 7 years must have grown 15 tobacco plants from seed barn and fire cured for 18 months and pressed then the usual Net process, I even had 1lt barrel's made from old congac ones then buried 4ft to try and keep a cool temperature, as well as untold amount of leaf combination, The end result I got nowhere, You know what they say, if at first you don't succeed give up, fricking have now.

I enjoyed my last cigarette almost exactly 6 years ago.
The last time I tried to smoke was about 3 years ago. Lesson learned.
For me personally it's a lot more enjoyable to endure nicotine deprivation than taking a drag from those disgusting little cancer sticks.
