Rossum, how do you come to believe that vg/pg can be stored to 15 yrs. without issue when stated shelf life is 2 yrs? Are you freezing or just storing in cooler, dark place? Would love if this is possible! :w00t:
I keep them in a closet, in the cardboard case that the 32-oz amber glass bottles came in.

Both are very stable compounds. Bottled in glass, with minimal head-space, I'm not aware of any mechanism by which either one would degrade over time.

Does that mean I'm *certain* that they'll still be good in 15 years? Nope. Can't say that for sure, but I think the chances are good it will be just fine.

Nope, no mechs at all. I'm thinking my regulateds, at least some, will outlast me. :w00t:

Provari are highly regulated. The $35 2.5's are one of the best deals out there. Highly recommend.

Oops! Lesson to me: omission on one word can totally change meaning. Should have read "Nope, AND no mechs at all."

But now that the discussion is open, I have not even looked at Provari's in a while due to the price point. But tell me, will the $35 one fire all the tanks I listed (all subΩ) and will a tank over 22mm fit it well?

I am a MTL vaper and have a couple of tanks that don´t leak or Flood. I am just looking for a mod or 2 with removable batteries. I don´t sub om and don´t need much power. I have been looking at the Pico too but I am not sure it is appropriate.
Go with the Pico. I have 3 in my arsenal and love them. Nice build quality and great features not to mention they also look cool.

I'm a MTL and have the Pico. Room to grow if nothing else. :)

I'm not just biased about the ProVari Dan40 ... however, there's some Freakish Alien Like stuff going on with the consistent smooth vape on a ProVari

I'm not the only one to notice it either ... it's where the common ProVari phrase "I get it now" comes from

I put 2 provaris 2.5 minis in my stash. Limited to 15 watts=meh vape. Still glad i have them.
Now to extreme,,,built my first unregulated dual 18650 last week. In parallel. Ought to finish the series mod this weekend. What an empowering experience. Starting to feel confident i could bypass a bad chip in a regulated. Bought 20 510 connectors from Varatube & FDV,..

I'd LIKE to be a prepper...and not just for vape gear. But I don't have the disposable $$ for it.

Vape-wise, though, I'm "OK for a while":
- about 6 years worth of Nic in the freezer
- 8 mechanical (and repairable) squonkers. This is a recent boom - but more because of new models I wanted to try, than an attempt to get "prepped". I might buy one more soon...that'll be it for a while!
- 4 regulated devices, including 3 I don't use but will keep as "backup" - including 2 Provaris that used to be my main vape. I WOULD have sold, but they're not worth 1/4 what I paid - and therefore are worth more as backup.
- Something like 16 bottom-feed RDA's that I LIKE, and a few more I don't.
- A bunch of carto-tanks and cartos I don't use anymore

I don't think there is any way we'll have real difficulty obtaining cotton or batteries or PG, VG, or even flavors.

If I were in you situation, I would buy more nic rather than another mod.

The 2.5 Provari won't do sub ohm but the P3 will. I have several 2.5 and P3's
And as low as I go on 2.5 is 1.5 ohm.

I have really wanted a cylinder mod for quite a while and this peaked my interest, so took a look. Regardless if diameter for fit of my tanks, the P3 says watts up to 20. Since my minimum watt usage is at 28w, it's a no go. Especially since I can get 2, 3, or maybe even 4 dual 18650 mods that will cover my wattage needs for that price.

Yeah - that's more a matter of freezer space...and a "gamble" that I'll have some kind of warning if that becomes necessary. I figure if the legislative ijits put a clamp on Nic-to-consumer, that I'll have a period when it's available - even if prices get whacked...

Barely though. 0.5ohms at MAYBE 18w is as high as you will consistently get. The EQ often prevents you from getting the full 20w.

I don't do sub ohm so I'm looking for longevity for me and the Provari's :)
