I bring a really long cord, and as we drive I feed it out the window. Seems to work well.

More seriously, I bring a bunch of batteries. And I have a car adapter for my charger, so by the time I get to the campsite I still have everything charged.

I think there are solar chargers as well, but I've not looked for those / can't speak to them.

This had been discussed before - find that thread for some comments on specific devices - but there were a few, I think mostly found on Amazon, that store 10,000 or 12,000 mah you can use to recharge batteries. And then there are solar rechargers.

The other thing I'd mention - if you camp at some altitude like I usually do - watch out for what that does to a filled clearomizer (LEAK).
If camping in the mountains, I'd fill up when I got there!

I use a deep cycle rv battery and alligator clip cig adapter with USB slot. Simple and easy. I use it to charge rc trucks too. Not something u can lug though.

If you're in a campground then a wall wart in the bathhouse works in a pinch.

Deep woods options are covered with a small powerpack or solar already mentioned.

MEL VV Box Mod

I can go a week without charging it, but idk because mine has never died.

What are the dimensions of the Beast Box? I'm not sure if I could fit it in my hands. 2 26650 batteries - wow!

I like the Detonator too. I just wonder why they go from 2 26650s down to 2 14500s skipping 2 18650s (which would be a more manageable size for a woman to hold).

I would appreciate it if you could measure your Beast Box and let me know the measurements so I can figure out if I could hold it ok. TIA

I haven't gone camping since vaping but this weekend will be the 1st. Like any other trip I will bring my USB power packs but this time to charge the ego & itaste plus spare 18650s for the SVD. One of my power packs is from FT. It's a charger/powerpack for 2 18650s. https://www.fasttech.com/p/1207400 They also make bigger ones (4 18650s). Smart thing to do would be to bring at least 2 batteries or something that does pass-through power.

Is it only me or did you find yourself smoking a lot more when camping (when u did smoke analogs)? I'd go through almost three packs in one long weekend. No more of that crap! ;)

I'm wondering how folks make do when you go camping or aren't near power for a few days or more. Do you have to get a gigantic battery, go plug hunting, or bring along a solar charger? Anything but bringing analogs to make it through.

They have what is called Power Inverters. Truck drivers use them all of the time. I had several up on my truck. I have one here at home that Im not using. 400 watts. Simple to use. You can plug in to your cigarette lighter then plug in your DC plug into the Inverter and instant power. Or you can get clips to attach straight to the battery (which is what I would recommend) and plug in what ever needs to be charged that way. They have 2 DC plug ins and a USB plug in... Like I said I have one here at the house that I am not using.... Works like a charm...

And if you don't want to go that route in gas stations and in truck stops around the Service counters they have this device that looks like a cigarette lighter adapter. on the end of it is a USB port. Just plug into your cigarette lighter, plug in your USB cord then plug your Battery in and you are good to go.

Inverters provide DC to AC power and are VERY inefficient; especially if going DC-AC-DC. Why even do dat?

As for 'power paks', have two and they hardly kept up with da ol' cig-a-like batts in da past.

If ya don't want to use your vehicle batt with da appropriate adapters/clamps, just get a deep cycle batt using da same hardware.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, still lookin' fer a solid solar charging system with balls. Although da cost has dropped a bit on da marginal systems, I haven't found one that I would trust post-'cane down here.

ETA: Ya can't go wrong with da lil' Honda 1K generator for camping and da road!!!
