Can 808 380ma batts w/510 adapt, use 510 charger?

header pretty much says it all, want to get 808 380's, use the 808 batt to 510 at adapter, just need to know if can charge the batteries with the adapter with a standard 510 charger?

You could probably, but I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not sure of the power mAh of the 510 battery, but I can imagine that it would either take just as long to charge or longer. Each charger is designed to charge the specific battery by delivering a known current over time. I would assume this is different for all different models.

I can't say if it will work or not, but if the 808 battery charger is designed to charge a more powerful battery, it could cause the 510 to explode.

Thanks for replying , but am not looking to charge a 510 off a 808 charger, but rather an 808 with a 510 atty adapter off a 510 charger since I already have one...just wanting to switch to the new 808 "mega" batts

Well, in that case, since I know that the 808 batts are much more powerful than the 510 ones, it will just take much longer to charge. If you can deal with that, go for it, but keep an eye on it and check to make sure it doesn't get too hot until you're sure it's completely safe. But if you end up liking the 808 batts, go ahead and buy a charger for them, it'll be worth the time you save at least.
