Might have to give that one a try! Been afraid to get another one and be dissapointed. I'm not a cloud chaser but I do love me some flavor :)

My first RDA was the Freakshow Mini. Absolutely hated it since the airflow channel is right underneath the coil and the cap goes over the bottom, so juice always leaked out of both the air intake and around the bottom of the RDA.

The owner of the B&M I got the Freakshow Mini from suggested that I try the Origen V2. Picked up a clone for $25. And it works absolutely great. Lots of vapor and lots of flavor. The way the positive and negative connections are set up makes it perfect for vertical coils and it has a nice deep juice well. You can do dual coils, although because I have a nickel coil in there, I just use a single coil with one air hole. I can easily vape 10 times before I need to add more juice.

MAN! I must not be getting the max usage out of my IGO L. It just has a basic well, not very deep and I can vape on it a good 30 times before I need to drip more! so what am I doing wrong? It's got great flavor and vapor is good considering the stock air hole. Other than my current coughing fits which I just realized was that I needed a fresh piece of cotton. The old one was a bit too thick because it was in there pretty tight. My guess is I was choking it out and getting partial dry hits from it. Which makes sense when I think about it.

what diameter coil ?
If the coil is too thin and long, you'll get wicking problems and the center of the coil would dry out faster

30 times is a ton for an rda. you may like that RDA, but you wouldnt know what you really like unless youve tried other/different RDA's. The Igo-L is not that really good of an RDA, even for someone who vapes low power mouth to lung. The airflow is just way too restricted to create any vapor. im betting most of the actual vapor is being caught and lost inside the cap itself, because the airflow isnt enough to pull it through the driptip fast enough. Basically the Igo-L isnt really giving you what you -should- get out of it, more input power/work less output vapor. The coil just sits there really hot after vapes, basically slow-cooking your cotton/juice, ever tried some eliquid thats been sitting out in the sun in a hot car all day?

Was a fresh wick the fix? When a juice starts to taste "off" or almost causes me to cough, rewicking usually does the trick.

Good advice here regarding ohms, wire, coil placement, etc. too!

Yes, I suspected I was getting way to may hits on the Igo L compared to others. I would completely agree with you as far as it not being the best atty, but when I did reviews on the magma is was suppose to blow flavor out of the water and produce a nice cloud, but I did not like it at all, it leaked like crazy, tasted like metal no matter how much I scrubbed that sucker and even the smallest airflow seemed to airy for me. So I found myself going back to my L I am currently trying to sell the magmas so I can find something else, but I don't want to end up being disappointed in another atty. I dont dual coil or do crazy builds and I don't sub ohm.

if you want a simple nice looking atty that is good with flavor and no frills airflow, but still a tight draw, this one is good too - I have it and it's one of my favorites

SOD 5K Atomizer Clone (No Logo) by SXK - Eciggity

comes with two topcaps, one airhole and the other topcap has 2 airholes.

id highly recommend that rda for any beginner over a magma or igo-L any day. Its not a cloudchasers dream atty with giant widebore driptip or massive airflow - you have the one hole topcap for mouth to lung inhales, then the other one if u want it a tiny bit airier. It also uses 510 driptip so u can use any driptip u want on it. If anything Id recommend trying that one next if you are looking for a new RDA to try soon, I think based on how you vape that will be a nice fit for you.

also the magma, i dont know why people always suggest that, anything with deck airholes will leak i dont care what anyone says. The tasting like metal could be due to poor craftsmanship if you bought a magma which im guessing you did, because authentic magmas are 100$ and you said you had several of them lol. Tasting of metal could also be due to the wire.

Yes, they are infinite clones and were supposed to be the best clones and I will never recommend them to anyone! I know some people really love theirs, but it is just not for me at all! I haven't heard of the Atty you referred but I will check it out. Thanks so much!

yeah who knows. Magmas arent really for beginners imo because wwith the bottom airflow it is difficult to prevent leaks from a newbie, overdripping/misplaced coils, it is just more stuff to worry about that someone doesnt really need to worry about. But yeah check out the sod5k atty i linked, I actually took mine out just a few minutes ago and put a build in it. It definitely is a nice flavorful mouth to lung hitter atty :hubba:
