Update on my daughter's BB kit. She loved her pink one so much, she asked for a purple one, too. It seems that her closet-smoker mother has been "stealing" the pink one from her to use when she is out of cigarettes. Anyway, I couldn't resist the request and got her a purple one, too. Everyone needs backups, right?

The cartotanks that I originally got for her kit proved to be a little too complex for her; she prefers using Vivi Nova, Protank, or Evod clearotanks for their ease of use.

Since she has started vaping, a few of her smoker friends were so impressed with the idea that they went out on their own and purchased their own PV's and have begun attempting to stop smoking.

Her mother has agreed to get her own APV. I won an Innokin iTaste MVP in a raffle drawing a couple of weeks ago, so since it was free to me I am going to donate it to her mother... on the grounds that she has to use it in an attempt to quit smoking. If it goes unused, I get it back.

I believe that my proactive stance has turned out even better than I had expected. My daughter is enjoying vaping no-nicotine flavors, some of her friends have converted to vaping, too. And her mother is considering to begin vaping full time, too. Win-win-win!!

Wouldn't take a million $$ for any of them, wouldn't give you 5 cents for 4 just like 'em.

Little dears (25, 21, 20 and 12, for reference). Yes, I have a nervous tic

Oh and to keep on topic, I love that ProBarbie! What did you use (I have a couple of cats that could contribute for the evening wear....)

The dark fur? It's mink. There are pictures on another thread somewhere of fur that I think is rabbit, but I made it look like a fox head.

It looks fabulous - take it for sure next trip to Neimans, pleeeeze??

Sadly, no minks in da house. Pre-shedded Chiwawa & Cat assortments, that I got.

Really tho, what did you use to wrap it with? (other than the mink, of course. :) )

It's a piece of fabric cut from a blouse I found in the Whatever Made You Think I Would Wear That Mom? bag. LOL!

I wrapped some paper around the body of the Provari, marked where the buttons are and made a pattern. I've made a number of wraps and adjust the pattern a little each time. I've found that non-stretchy fabrics work the best. I attach it with double-sided carpet tape. I prefer the feel of fabric, but I've also used adhesive vinyl shelf paper. The "permanent" type sticks better and isn't permanent. I haven't played around in awhile, but I was last experimenting with inkjet printable fabric, but it felt too much like canvas and I didn't like the finish. The stuff I got was on sale at WalMart, so was pretty low quality. I've seen other kinds online that look much better, but not in my budget.

This is inkjet fabric, attached with carpet tape

Update on my daughter's BB's

My daughter is now away at college. She has been using Innokin iClear 30 clearomizers with colored tanks to distinguish her different flavors with her pink & purple BB's. Since she has started vaping 0-nic e-liquid, she has converted her BF and a few of her friends (all previous smokers) to vaping, too. Her mother has been using my iTaste MVP, and she proudly showed it to her co-workers who now want their own MVP. One of my daughter's dorm roommates got her an eGo to vape 0-nic flavors.

I'm rather proud of my daughter having a positive influence on her friends and mother to quit smoking and begin vaping.

Hi Bad,
I commend you for your wise decision in hooking your daughter up with the nice gear. I wish I could talk my daughter into vaping, but I think because it's coming from her mom, she's resistant. Don't know where she got that stubborn gene!!
It's so cool that by doing this for your daughter, others have gotten on board. Just think of how many years of smoking these kids are avoiding. Good job!! You should be proud of yourself and your daughter!! I need to ask, also, because I don't know...what is a BB? They're pretty cool looking. I can see the appeal for a young woman.

Basically a small mechanical mod (14500 battery=AA size) made by an American company in Ohio. "Black Beauty, Baby Bullet"? Just slightly smaller than a Provari Mini.

AltSmoke also makes the Silver Bullet, one of the first and still popular 18650 mechanical mods. My first mods ever were the BB and Silver Bullet. Both are built like "tanks". The quality of the machinery (top connector and cap threading) for both are similar to the quality of a Provari. In fact, the BB's direct competition would be a Provape-1. AltSmoke BB

The State of Confusion
I tell ya' for a really nice petite small mechanical mod, the Puresmoker Icon that used a 14500 was awesome!

I still have two, one polished and one brushed, both stainless steel.

(BTW Puresmoker is no longer in business)

They are great for the low volume vaper, or when I get all dolled up for a night on the town!
(Unless you carry extra batteries).
