Can anyone help me with e liquid mixing?

Hi, I am new to mixing e liquid flavours. I mixed 10ml of PG/VG 12mg nicotine with a raspberry flavouring. The taste is good, but it isn't quite sweet enough. Is there anyway to make a sweetener at home? Can I mix sugar with my base liquid or do I have to make another order for a sweetener made for e liquids?

Hi vapalicious and welcome to ECF. We have a very active forum on DIY liquid mixing. You can find it here. You need 5 posts before you can post there, but you can read it now. Check the 'Sticky Threads' at the top of the forum page. There is a lot of information on how to do things there. I would not use sugar in my liquid.

Table Sugar will gunk up the coils. You can purchase sweetener from tpa or wizard labs. Easiest way is to buy ethyl maltol crystals and mix 1/4 tsp in 10ml of pg. Only need a couple drops to sweeten any mix..

What ratio of pg to vg are you mixing? The higher the vg content, the sweeter the mix. I usually mix a 65/35 pg/vg and it's very nice
Also the flavour percentage can affect the mix. Too much can make it taste off.

I don't find ethyl maltol that sweet, even at 10%, but everyone is different
