Can anyone recommend a good tank?

I use 3.5ml tanks from vapor4life.com. What thread battery are you using? The ones Im using contain a dual coil WOW cartomizer and are threaded for 808 but they have 510 as well. I like these a lot and you can purchase replacement cartomizers to go in them so you dont have a to buy a new tank. I have a couple so that i can switch flavors whenever. they are only $12 from the website and they just started this wheele deal promotion that gives anywhere from 10-45% off of your order just use the coupon code "wheel7" the deal ends tomorrow.

You haven't mentioned what you are using, DC's are not the best option for a lot of batteries out there, such as the ego's or other non vv devices. You also didn't mention if you wanted a carto tank or something like the vivi nova.

I personally use the vivi nova on my BB and love the combo. As it has rebuildable heads I don't have to worry about buying cartos. It takes me just a couple minutes to recoil and costs just a few cents per head.

Yes the vivi nova isn't as big as most carto tanks as it only holds about 2.5 ml of juice, but it is also much easier to refill. Some people don't like them, but then that can be said about anything.

I just followed the link that you posted and looked at the vivi. The cartos in my tank cost the same as those replaceable heads and seem like they are far less of a hassle. I'm not sure how those things work, but for the V4L tanks alls ya do is pull out the old cart and put the new one in. Filling it is super easy as all you do is pull the cart out a bit and just drip into the tank at a 45 degree angle and put a few drops in the filler of the carto then vape.

Replaceable heads are no hassle at all. You don't have to change them when you change a flavor. You don't need to reserve a carto for each flavor. You don't have to prime them. You don't have to worry about the holes being the right size for the juice you're using. There is no issue about vacuum forming and interfering with the juice feed. They last longer and taste cleaner.

You can re-coil Vivi heads for less than a nickel and in less time than it takes to dry burn them or clean them. You screw them in and leave them there until they get so gunked up you can't use them anymore. I usually go at least 2 weeks between re-coils and I've never had one burn out yet. I don't even bother cleaning them. When they get gunked up, I just put a new coil in the head. I have 12 heads that I got with 4 Vivi's and I'll probably never need to buy another head or carto again. Atomizer tanks, like the Vivi, also impart no extra polyester flavor to your juice like a filled carto.

I've used every type of carto out there. Tank or no tank, I'll never buy another carto or carto tank again. Since I can re-coil/re-wick a head in less than 5 minutes, I'll never buy another one of those again either. How economical can you get?

Oh, and you can carry them in your pocket without worrying about leaking. Don't try that with a DCT, or any other carto tank.

Interesting to see about the rebuildable clearos. I didn't know those existed. I do prefer the airiness and consistent hits of the carto though. Clearos are easier to fill and see the liquid left, but depending on the wick, you may have to toss it around a bit to rewet it properly. Not much need of that in a carto. Plus the tank on a carto should keep it constantly wet, so no need for refilling several times a day like I do now with my lil boges. I did start out with the homemade syringe tanks, and they weren't so great. Hopefully the DCT I'll get in the mail today for my twist will be much more reliable than the homemade version.

Besides what Sailor pointed out with not having the filler and such that the cartos do, with recoiling the heads on the vivi nova I never have to be concerned about DOA cartos, and no one can say that never happens as anyone who has used cartos knows sometimes they get one in a pack that doesn't work.

I been using clearamizers and a dct for the last week. Although the dct is more consistent I hate the filler test I get with it. My clearos have a much cleaner taste but I get a dry hit every so often unless I tip and roll to wet the wick. I just ordered a vivi. Going to give that a try. With that I can atleast clean it like I do with the ego-c atomizer. And even re coil them.
